He takes up his paint brush and starts to blend colors on his fancy colorboard. A line here and colorful stain there and in no time a picture starts to come alive. Made out of thin air! Painted on A BLANK CANVAS!
How fascination is this stunning process that was part of the evolving society for the past several 100 years? If you were that skilled painter that could express and transform this talent and make a living with it, people looked up to you and you had a privileged status within the community just like a doctor or an engineer.
But let's fast forward to now, where generative AI tools are filling our canvas with digital aligned life and people are used as their masters in command to guide them in the master's financial, political or cultural advantage.
PASSENGER 10 is a real human, going by the name of Christian Beat Hirt. Born on March 7th, 1979. All music he produces is handmade and the presstexts here are written without any help of AI or writing tools. In fact, guys, I (Christian Beat Hirt) am writing this text and I am using the third person to make it look bigger than it actually is. Landing May 17, the project as a whole showcases an impressive range of sounds. 'Lost Myself (Without You)' features a beautiful string arrangement, intricate percussion, and evocative vocals from songwriting collaborator Mariella, bringing to light the more soulful side of the Phoenix-based producer's work.

Marking a milestone in Purified Records’ history, the label presents the twentieth instalment of its sought-after various artist Fragments series. Entering a dreamy soundscape, Palisade and Affektion team up for ‘Hurt Enough’. Gliding on a pristine arrangement, the track reaches a lofty dimension with soaring vocals and glistening synths. Flowing into TsuruSwing’s ‘Okutama’, this melodic creation is built up around a stunning piano break, which showcases the composer’s ability to fuse classical and contemporary elements. Closing with Krokha’s dramatic cut ‘Paradigm’, the compilation moves into a deeper dimension with growling bass and guiding pads.

The Fragments XX artwork features a school of fish, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Schooling fish exhibit a collective behavior where they swim together in coordinated groups, often displaying intricate and synchronized movements. This behavior serves various purposes, including predator avoidance, improved foraging efficiency, and enhanced reproductive success. Schooling helps create a visually confusing and intimidating effect, making it challenging for predators to target individual fish within the group. Communication through visual cues and changes in direction contributes to the cohesion and coordination observed in schooling fish. The Ocean Conservancy is an organization that fights for ocean protection all around the world – the only place fish can call home.

Located on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, Daniel Nicholson is one of the globe’s most prominent professional underwater photographers. He seeks to share the beauty and magic of the underwater world to inspire conservation and change.

Anyasa releases new single 'Closure' featuring Luke Coulson. The single follows the release of three EP's via Anjunadeep, which have accumulated over 3M streams across DSP's, as well as being covered in esteemed publications such as Mixmag and Rolling Stone India.

The Goan electronic producer has established himself as a world-class touring DJ and live act, with global schedules spanning India, North America, Europe and beyond, and evidenced in multiple online live recordings, such as his 2021 Mixmag In The Lab, and more recently a recording from his unforgettable set at Anjunadeep Open Air Goa December 2023. His 2024 Spring touring schedule includes 14 dates across India and North America, as well as playing at DGTL festival Amsterdam this March, with more dates to be announced.

Anish's unique take on club-focused productions, incorporating influences from his Goan roots in the form of featured artists and live instrumentation, has earned him support from tastemaker's including Maceo Plex, Joris Voorn and Eelke Kleijn.
