Nihil Young since a young producer admired the Binary Finary '1998' classic; a trance classic that over time still sounds as good as it did at release. We are thrilled here at Cities to revisit one of our stand-out tracks from early 2020: Tydrous & Pipa Moran’s stunning “Pride”, which has been re-worked by a true artisan of Trance: us-based Jeff Ozmits. 

The original mix of this amazing track was a beautiful coalition between Pipa’s delicate vocal performance and Tydrous’ excellent production work. In his remix Jeff has truly turned things up a notch delivering a stunning rendition which pays homage to the original whilst adapting and tweaking almost every element to deliver a pulsating rendition, bristling with energy and glowing with radiant beauty.    

Returning with an amazing version of an outstanding track here at Cities, this is Jeff Ozmits and his astonishing remix of Tydrous & Pipa Moran’s “Pride”.

Anden presents Sound Room 038 (July 2020) - Live from Club Quarantine

This 14th label release offers a top-flight collaborative original song offering by Chicago-based electronic artists Jeff Ozmits and RJ Pickens.

First up is the original mix of Rules of Engagement. This driving progressive house stormer has been getting great reactions from dancefloors it has been tested on over the past 9 months, and it is truly a pleasure to now make this available to the world. A galloping rhythmic arrangement paired with an unforgettable melodic composition of arpeggiated leads, soaring synths, and energizing guitar plucks is designed to take make the dancefloor take flight.

The second track on the release is RJ Pickens' Flightplan Edit of the original. Being that this composition was deeply inspired by fighter jets and their marvels of modern engineering, it felt only fitting that a version of this song was made that took the listener even further into the experience of supersonic flight. Nuances of fighter jet engines, aircraft flight, radio communications, and cockpit sounds are tastefully woven into the mix, giving an immersive feel of the energy felt during tactical flight.

The first round of remixers from the Elliptical Sun Recordings 500 compilation sees Nikhil Prakash, Nourey and Vintage & Morelli step up to the plate.
Having delivered club bangers on the label dating all the way back to ‘Noodle’ from 2017, Nikhil Prakash has become a master of edgy productions with feel-good melodies. Taking on a track that’s right up his alley, Nikhil has reworked the 2017 hit ‘Oxygen’ by Adrian Alexander & The Antipodes, giving the anthem his signature bass-heavy paint job.
Nourey, a trance producer and MIT student out of Boston, has recently shot up the ranks of female producers in the scene. Coming off of her recent remix for Gabriel & Dresden on Anjunabeats, Nourey serves up her electro-inspired take on Quizzow’s hit ‘Era Of Tomorrow’. Trust us, it’s massive!
Finally, having only appeared on our Melodies imprint back on the ESM200 release, Serbia’s Vintage & Morelli makes his Elliptical Sun Recordings debut with his deep house-flavored respray of Jeff Ozmits’ ABGT Push The Button winner, ‘Show Me Love’.

The time has finally come to reveal the much-anticipated collaboration between two very talented artist pairings from the Zerothree family. Anden team up with Local Dialect on "Palmetto" (Before You Leave).

Anden first appeared on Zerothree back in 2017 with "Retrograde" which pathed the way to a series of extremely intelligent melodic/progressive masterpieces from the NYC born brother pair. Streaming into their millions; Tom & Pete continue to create forward thinking melodic music with a difference.

Local Dialect stepped into the REALPROG family earlier this year with their debut release "Perseus/Flote". The records scream class and elegance whilst really packing a strong club-based punch! Sam & Reed pride themselves in using lots of external hardware and synths, a sound that you can hear throughout all their music.

"Palmetto (Before You Leave)" showcases both artist's insane musical abilities in one timeless record. Pete's vocals fitting perfectly to really take this to the next level. Just wait until you hear that main synth…. WOW!
