I wanted to steer away from the idea of only playing tracks as unknown as possible in a set, so here are the (overplayed) greatest dancefloor hits of the Amsterdam techno scene in ~2023. All killer, no filler!

Petter B returns to his Bond imprint after some time away and the influential Swedish producer show his usual high quality and creative sound design ideas.

Known for his monstrous tracks for Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, Cari Lekebusch’s H-Productions, Developer’s Modularz and Dutch stable Planet Rhythm, he always puts together punchy works.

For this DT:Premiere we selected “Fear” with a complex concoction in its analogue makeup. A powerful, energetic and mechanical aesthetic has cyclical chopping sounds that provide the main underlying propulsion, while huge percussive cracks are met with shooting modular tones to add an interesting dystopian angle.

Diffuse Reality is a label with international presence from Europe to South America, and with over a decade of releases now in tow, has featured artists such as Electric Indigo, Terence Fixmer, Stanislav Tolkachev, Sunil Sharpe, and Arnaud Le Texier.

LSWD is a Tunisian artist returning to Diffuse Reality with his second ever EP release, meaning he has only exclusively released on the imprint thus far, and we are keen to hear more works in the future as he establishes his back catalogue.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Got to Learn" with a rolling and jackin' sound. The electrifying textures pierce the airwaves with a gritty, bending feeling, while the dancing synth notes create a moody vibe amidst lots of atmospheric elements in this raw, uptempo jam.

So my different roots and influences builded up Sev Dah sounds, but most of all the Balkan blackness clings strongly to the bleak percussions and rigidly uneasy synthetics that unwillingly fuse into his strongly individual take on techno. After moving to Berlin in 2014, Amotik has been steadily building a base in the city that significantly inspired him. Starting in 2015 with a series of EPs on his self-titled imprint, he was soon regularly featured in the Groove Magazine and Resident Advisor monthly charts. Having developed a unique style of hypnotic/atmospheric techno with a relentless raw undertone, his consistency as both a DJ and producer has seen him perform at some of the most exciting clubs and festivals around the globe.
After 10 vinyl releases on his own label (and guest appearances on 47, Bpitch Control, Figure), late 2019 saw Amotik take on the most ambitious release to date – ‘Vistar’ (Hindi for expand/extended). The first full-length double vinyl LP on his label was also accompanied by a debut live tour to end the year.

Groove Magazine’s ‘Essential Albums’ and also earned Mixmag’s ‘Album of the Month’ title.
2020 sees Goethebunker and Amotik team up for ‘Adyant’. A new bi-monthly party at the renowned Essen venue. Adyant (Hindi meaning: ‘Beginning to End’) is a new series where Amotik will have the opportunity to curate and invite guests who have inspired his journey, as well as playing extended sets himself. The club is a long-standing mainstay in Essen, constructed from a former bomb shelter with a powerful function one sound system. The perfect setting to commence the Adyant series.
