dxrvo primarily creates Hypnotic Techno and Minimal Techno, with occasional ventures into electronic breaks and ambient music. His tracks usually range between 144-146 BPM, allowing for an intense and immersive sound. Recently, he has explored slower BPMs to enhance the hypnotic qualities and percussion, deepening the listening experience.

dxrvo's passion for electronic music began with a club visit in his hometown, leading to frequent trips to clubs, especially Klub Pan. Influenced by the DJ duo Lyric, he found his musical direction. Before discovering the scene, he had started producing music with help from his brother, an audio engineer, who taught him programs like Logic. This journey solidified his love for electronic music, which has become his greatest passion.

Influenced by DJs such as Amotik, DVS1, Klint, Orbe, and Pulso, he aims to capture the same hypnotic atmosphere in his music. As the founder of Kollektiv Synergie, an event series and label active for five years, he releases a podcast, SYNCAST, every Thursday, featuring hypnotic techno and hardgroove with rich percussion. The label also has an EP series, SYEP, showcasing international artists.

Yax is a techno DJ from Adelaide, Australia. 
Drawing influence from artists such as DVS1, Jeff Mills, and Setaoc Mass. His style has continuously evolved throughout the years, but he maintains a focus on deep, groovy, hypnotic, and minimal techno, as he takes inspiration from the 90s and early 00s era, while still adding a modern twist to his sets. 

While maintaining a strong presence in the Adelaide scene as a promoter now through his ‘Paranoia’ nights at Sugar Night Club and his first outdoor rave in March

Yax also curates a weekly podcast series called Yax Invites. The series began in 2021 to showcase underground talent from around the world and is now on 204 episodes.

“Dead Man’s Switch” marks Lo Chi’s sophomore EP and his debut solo release on Dead Trax, following contributions to the label’s various artists compilations. Featuring 5 original cuts that range from 120 to 130 BPM, DDTX005 is a testament to his creativity and versatility, reflecting the innovative spirit of Bristol’s underground sound.

Hailing from Joburg, South Africa, and now based in Bristol, UK, Lo Chi is DJ and producer carving out a unique space in the realms of bass music and techno. His sound, defined by deep sub-bass, sharp textures and dark atmospheres, showcases a mastery of syncopation and hypnotic rhythms. With contemporaries like Henry Greenleaf, Sub Basics and Javano,
along with support from influential figures such as Lamont or Yak, Lo Chi is an artist
deserving greater recognition in the current electronic music landscape.

In Lo Chi’s words, “this EP concludes some moments within my continued practice in
production; Some inspired by trips to Berlin’s club scene, some galvanised by mid winter days inside with cyclical rhythm. Each track feels to be a principal example of its palette, extended over 6 years. Love to Henry, Ed, Dean, Benji and Tony for their continued faith.
