Since the bands inception in 2007, Matty Trash and the Horrorbles have grown from an underground punk-rot group of misfits, to an internationally recognised war-monster of metal and heavy rock. With countless downloads and video-streaming, Matty Trash and the Horrorbles have caught the attention of fans world-wide,
and have developed an enormous following through social media.

After years of live performances, 2011 saw the release of the bands first EP "Part 1: The Infection", a collection of raw, tongue-in-cheek, punk-rock songs and ballads.

Matty Trash and the Horrorbles return in 2014 with their new EP, "Part 2: The Decay" which shows a more calculated, solid, heavy-hitting approach. A much more violent, aggressive EP, influenced by the culture and society of the modern era.

The songs featured on the bands second EP shows a greater level of maturity
and technicality within the band, while holding strong to their energetic, rhythmic vibes. Pumping drums, solid crunch-driven guitars, industrial keys 
and soul-grabbing bass, complimented by the unique growling voice of Matty Trash, make this new EP one heavy piece of machinery.

The first single ZERO TO HERO sets the mood for the EP, hitting straight into the tight mesh of musical instruments and brutal vocals. A song about addiction taking control of the body and the struggle to shake it.

As Matty Trash and the Horrorbles evolve, they will continue to terrorize stages with their unique brand of horror-metal and explosive live performances, reaching into the minds of listeners and pushing the boundaries to the edge.

Founded in 2010, A Westward March is continuing to conquer the Japanese music scene by storm by their uncompromising heavyness with memorable riffs and the highly energetic performance of their members. 

Equipped with the brutal voice of Angie (their female vocalist) and with members hailing from Japan & Germany, A Westward March bring their finest influences together to show the horrors of this world and the inherent darkness of human conflict.

The first EP set to release in June of 2014 will be called Alekto, the goddess of "the implacable or unceasing anger". Set out to create havoc on the Trojans by persuading its opponents to go to war, this title is representative of the lyrical content in the four songs Verrat, Infection, Soldiers In War and Hell's Drink. 

Verrat, the intro track to this EP stands out because the lyrics are written in German which creates a grim atmosphere backed by some of the most intense drumming on the EP. Fast riffing, an epic guitar solo and a crushing breakdown create a track which gets listeners excited for the rest of the EP.

Infection, a mid-tempo song which causes lots of activity in the moshpit with a death-metal intro and includes an epic breakdown and dual-melody riffing. It brings out the low end of the band which relies heavily on their 7-string guitars.

Soldiers in War, written by the bands guitarist Shawn is reminiscent of the glory days of Metalcore with uptempo riffing and memorable licks perfect for circle pits but culminates into a brutal beatdown for all the moshers out there.

The final piece of the EP, Hell's Drink, also stands out because of the heavily black-metal influenced riffing and rhymically intricate drumwork. This track really showcases the intricate melodic guitarwork which acts as a counterpoint to the breakdown-heavy parts. 

All in all, A Westward March shows a promising approach to the genre and will be sure to dominate the Japanese Metal scene. Female-fronted bands of this caliber are rare and you should expect this band to play shows outside of Japan in the near future as well.
