Renowned German DJ and producer Boris Brejcha has joined forces with long-term collaborator Ginger on new single ‘Spicy’, out 2nd April via Ultra.
A melodic techno track that’s fizzing with refined dancefloor energy, ‘Spicy’ combines driving snares, delicate piano chords and Ginger’s fleeting vocals as it gracefully builds in intensity throughout. The track marks the first in a line of singles planned throughout the rest of 2021, culminating in the release of Boris Brejcha’s new album in November.

Spicy feat. Ginger (Edit)

Renowned German DJ and producer Boris Brejcha is back with new track “House Music” featuring UK-based, indie pop trio Arctic Lake, out now via Ultra Records.

Coming off of his last release, “Spicy,” Boris Brejcha brings us “House Music.” Although the title is quite literal, this track is much more abstract and mysterious than you’d think. Featuring soft, high-pitched vocals and a steady background beat, this track is perfect for freestyle dancing and
just having a good time! An official video is also coming on release day, containing clips that were sent in by Brejcha’s fans of them dancing to the new track. In order to get these fan submissions, Boris did a month-long Instagram challenge and called for some special dance moves to be featured in the video.

House Music feat. Arctic Lake (Edit)

With his new EP "EXIT" Boris Brejcha continues the success of his first two single releases "Spicy feat. Ginger" and "House Music feat. Arctic Lake". The 3-track EP once again underpins his distinctive musical style, which he himself describes as "high-tech minimal". The lead track "EXIT" is a driving techno track that is bursting with pure dancefloor energy. Paired with futuristic vocal samples, Boris Brejcha once again showcases his signature style.
"The Caravan" impresses with powerful drums, paired with an unprecedented melody in the break, which is enclosed with an energetic and powerful drop.
The track "Cruise Lane" rounds off this EP and sparks desire for his upcoming album Himmelblau, which will be released in winter 2021.

Gorgon City - Skywalk | The Last Cercle Stories of Season 1

Today, a song I wrote a year and a half ago that has been by far the most requested unreleased song I’ve ever made is finally out.  I wrote the lyrics and melody and literally took a video of me singing the track, sent it to my buddy Josh K and said “Can you recreate this but with your voice?” A couple days later he sent back his vocals and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! The past year and a half I wasn’t sure what the best way to release this track would be, but I’m excited to share it with you as the third single on my upcoming “Infrared EP,” getting released in full next month. Boris Brejcha's "Purple Noise" has been one of his most popular and successful tracks ever and if this doesn't pant for more then what does?
So months later into some serious thought process and thanks to the incredible collaboration with fellow artists such as WorakIs, Moritz Hofbauer and Ann Clue we are proud to finally share this massive remix EP with you.

The first jaw-dropping moment during this project was when we received WorakIs interpretation of "Purple Noise". Let's go out on a limb here for a second and call his remix "anthem of 2021" which actually doesn't seem so far-fetched once you've listened to this journey yourselves. WorakIs certainly takes electronic music storytelling to whole nother level with this dramatic and incredibly powerful sound experience. 

Moritz Hofbauer continues with a wonderful rollercoaster ride through atmospheric vastnessnes coupled with gripping percussions and a bold bassline. It's the impressive diversity of this remix which makes it stand out so much.

Ann Clue, a long-time companion of Boris worked some real magic with her approach to "Purple Noise". While she allows the tender lead melody to float through a wide space of peace and harmony she still trusts in her uncompromising knack for propulsive percussive elements. 

Last but not least the maestro himself sat down to give his masterpiece a new paint. The outcome is a 2021 edit which is another reminder of why Boris Brejcha has become such a driving creative force in the music business over the last couple of years. Furthermore it's this kind of dedication to music which allows us to look forward into the future optimistically.
