UK-based duo Jupiter Cats came together in London in 2015, immediately commissioned the manufacture of some ill-conceived balaclavas and began recording a noisy pop album about introversion, death and boredom. The result, ‘The Truant’, was recorded, arranged and performed by the pair, with some kind-hearted friends agreeing to help them with the really tricky bits. We were a London-based DIY Indie-Alt band.

Harriet J Woodcock is a London-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Her first EP, Four Locks, was released on Foof Records in 2014, with the follow up EP Shillyshallier in 2016. Harriet drifts between folk and pop, choral and electronic, melodrama and blunt frankness. Her subject matter includes recurring themes of the plight of the underdog, infatuation, being a human, and friendship. Her tone is generally hopeful, her intentions generally good.

Harriet's debut album, Big Talk, will be released in September 2019 on Grandflat Recordings. Recorded and produced by Matthew Pinfield and mastered in New York by Alan Douches, Big Talk is the work of a year, put together over weekends, school holidays and any other spare moments. The first single, To Be Perfect, is out on July 12th 2019.

Bat and Ball present their debut album, Genuine Skin.

A thematic encapsulation of the intimate musings upon which Abi Sinclair, Chris Sinclair and Harri Chambers have made their name so far. The 12-track collection sees the London-based three piece tread the line between tongue-in-check and heart-on-sleeve in their frank assessment of feminism, gender, love and self-worth.

The LP is wrought with emotive subversion. From the exploration of self-esteem and disillusionment within ‘Fortune’ and ‘Worth’, to the narcissism and objectification laced into ‘All The Sugar’ and ‘Be Mine’, Bat & Ball weave both wistful fantasy and stark reality into a refreshingly complex narrative.
