This song is not meant to be taken at face-value, there is very much a concept at play here of the different perspectives of the Evangelical rapture. I’m not personally someone who believes in the rapture, but I’m also not an atheist— so I tried my best to orchestrate this song into the emotions of both Evangelical paranoia and “reddit atheism” (for lack of better words)
