MJC(c)or rather the "MEDIA JUNKIE COLLECTIVE" is my long-term dream of supplying all manners of objects & talents that like-minded and genuinly gifted musicians & friends need to bolster and complete any music-based projects that result in eventual completion. We as fellow members strongly promote avoiding monetary means as much as possible....How is it done? Well, herein is the base idea: As genuine musicians/friends (you know what you are!)we each possess single and/or multiple skills needed to help one another via a simple system of mutually assured skill EXCHANGE/BARTERING resulting in a mainly tit-for-tat style intent on bolstering any aspect of our cherished art we may be currently lacking in. Here's a few lame examples, but you'll get the point chum:
* Johnny goldfingerz (?) is a known local maniac on drums but cannot draw worth a shit and wants good original artwork for his upcoming grind solo project...well it so happens as a fellow MJC comrade he could exchange playing drums on "Crystal Shits" debut album as their rookie drummer just left due to sheer inadequacy. And wow It just so happens Crystals vocalist "PencilNeck" paints killer Metal landscapes and logos. Opportunity? Hells yes!
It definitely hels that the MJC site(s) have listings for wants/needs and bios for members!

Driem (Aaron Handford) is a producer of organic electronica, deep house & downtempo bass whose festival credits include Burning Man, Pachena Bay, Valhalla Fest, Burn In The Forest, Otherworld, & SubLunar and releases on the Visionary Shamanics and Lump Records label.
 
He is inspired by the intersection of the traditional musical legacies of Africa, India, Europe and the Middle East with modern sample based electronic music making methods and is an active music producer. He enjoys collaborating with vocalists and instrumentalists to co-create musical journeys. His artistic goal is to forge connections between the spheres of deep house, downtempo global bass music, jazz, and world rhythms.
