2020 didn’t turn out how we expected. We had hoped for a year of dancing together in community; instead, we got a year of isolation and loss. 
 
But the spark of creativity burns brightly even in dark times, and so we reached out to producers in the TOUCH Samadhi family to donate music that would connect us across the distance. We received a broad spectrum of sounds that we hope will comfort those in seclusion at home as well as they work on sound systems when we come together to dance again. 
 
We are also aware of the social turmoil that has taken place this year, and we stand on the side of justice. Therefore, all proceeds from this album will be donated to Emancipate North Carolina, a project of the Carolina Justice Policy Center dedicated to combating mass incarceration and structural racism.
