Some tracks don’t arrive - they unfold, slowly and with intention, like sunlight creeping across a floor. Swallow, the B1 cut from Pistaccio’s upcoming EP "The Brave Gardener" on Kepler’s Perspective imprint, is exactly that kind of presence. Calm but playful, deep yet unpretentious, it doesn’t kick down doors - it slides in through the side, smiling like it knows the rhythm better than you do.

Emerging from Sydney’s fertile underground and already known for releases on tastemaking labels like Magic Carpet, Pistaccio may be a new name to some, but his groove is seasoned. “Swallow” is a testament to that. Anchored by a fluid, rolling bassline that moves like ink across water, the track drips with finesse. It whispers UK Garage in its inflection - a nod more than a reference - with subtle vocal chops fluttering in and out like half-caught thoughts on a breezy afternoon.

But this isn’t a genre study. “Swallow” is its own garden: meticulously planted, rhythmically pruned, effortlessly alive. The percussive palette is crisp yet restrained, always in service of the groove, never overreaching. Where some tracks scream for attention, this one pulls you in - head-first into its headspace, hips-first onto its frequency. It's the kind of tune that DJs slide into the mix when the room needs recalibration - not louder, but smarter.
There’s a kind of patience in “Swallow” - the confidence of a track that knows the floor will come to it. And it will. Whether at golden-hour rooftops or fog-drenched afters, the track holds its own, sleek and poised like a dancer waiting for just the right moment to move.

Beat Or Technique is the latest four-tracker from Yotam Nadav, landing on DDCX with serious style and swagger.

BEAT OR TECHNIQUE couldnt match better the sound of the Campo Festival label.

It’s a sharp-edged dancefloor cut — playful, percussive and soaked in groove — where each track (Groovy Mars, Forbidden Pie, Body Rock Ya) flirts between raw muscle and slick detail. Known for helming Barcelona’s Space Room and co-piloting the Club Cultura collective, Nadav brings the same crate-digging finesse and late-night intuition from his DJ sets into the studio.

His love for '90s and 2000s underground wax bleeds through every synth and snare. With past releases on Fauve and a rep for assembling cult club nights across Europe, this EP is another notch in his ever-evolving sonic belt.
