After spending time in the studio surrounded by a tonne of incredible vintage production gear, they saw it fit to make a heavyweight Roots Reggae release featuring some classic artists, playing in an original and authentic style.

The EP features 3 vocal tracks of dubs from veteran JA Roots artists. Big ups to Trevor Byfield, Abyssinians and Prince Alla for the mega vocals all recorded in Kingston at Sugar Minott's Youthman Promotion Studio. Each track is followed by a weighty dub mix!

Passionné de reggae depuis 2008 et basé à Malte, Salted Dread a rejoint le crew international de reggae, Pon di Corner et a cofondé le One Drop Festival en 2017, le premier festival reggae, ska et dub de l'île où il a notamment assuré le warm up pour Channel One sound system. Pour ce mix dub exclusif, le selecta donne à entendre le meilleur de l'UK dub ainsi qu'une dubplate incroyable en last tune du Finlandais Dreadlocks Tales... Run it & play it loud !

Dub Conductor are extremely happy to present our latest musical creation, featuring two fantastic vocalists and a superb saxophonist, all blended into 4 carefully crafted mixes of rootikal dubwise.
This track was born from a meeting between Dub Conductor and El Fata at a big session in Lyon, France, in June 2019. After the session, we decided we had to work with him and set about creating a rhythm and starting the collaboration to create something with this superbly smooth and individual voice. A short while later we decided that we would also love to feature Ponchita Peligros, another instantly identifiable, talented artist who had not yet featured on our label and whose vocal skills had really been catching our attention in recent years. Finally, the rhythm has been given some massive horns sounds from the jazz man Tommy Harris, a skilled saxophonist who we met during a chance encounter in a smokey Jazz club in Manchester. We are extremely proud of the production quality and the positive, energetic vibes of the track and are sure you'll like it too!
