NSTLGA is a synth Electro-Indie artist from Richmond, Virginia.

NSTLGA is Mikey Canoy (singer, songwriter, producer). Growing up in the back woods of Denison, TX, Mikey found his passion with music at an early age. Traveling and playing music for folks with disabilities, and the elderly who couldn’t leave their homes, with his brother Nick. It was then Mikey realized that music is the only universal love language that everyone can understand. That led to learning and sharpening the craft of creating music that would speak to people in a way that music spoke to him. Mikey began his recording ventures when he moved to Northern Virginia in 2009. He learned from years of trial and error, making beats in fruity loops to making full-fledged productions with industry-leading gear in his home studio today.

NSTLGA - New Light [Girlfriend Records]

This was based on an experience I had while in psychiatric hospital. This one is about a girl named Noah, an autistic patient who was being poorly treated by the people we trusted the most. Took some inspiration from early Spiderbait tracks haha.
