This is my small contribution to the à cappèlla music genre. There is no AI here; everything was composed from scratch and in the old-fashioned way. The baroque fugue lessons taught by late Sister Xavier, a cheerful nun who was my piano teacher when I was nine, were especially useful here. 

All vocals were performed and recorded by the talented Argentine musician Mick Jimenez Barr, a baritone singer who also helped choose the best phonemes for this little piece.

Ever since Circus Boy with Mickey Dolenz, I've had a fascination with all things circus and fairgrounds... such a rich source of unique sounds, smells and sights. The trumpeting elephant was my tribute to the old elephant that lives in the vast Meenakshi temple in southern India.

10. The Wheel of Fortune

“Through the Looking Glass” is about feeling lost and searching for love in all the wrong places. Using the Alice in Wonderland metaphor, it explores how chasing love to fill a void can feel like falling deeper into a dream or even madness. The song’s message is that true love has to start within; otherwise, you’re trapped in illusions, clinging to people who can’t save you. It’s both a cry for connection and a journey toward self-acceptance.
