Nanzhen Yang is a multidisciplinary artist, DJ, and producer based in London and Berlin.

Combining her background as a multi-disciplinary artist, Nanzhen crafts her DJ mixes with the signature storytelling flow, sculptural in structure and rich in emotional groove — Beneath her driving techno kicks lies a world of layered soundscapes, subtle moods and precise energy control, forming an immersive tension that draws listeners in. 

Each of her mixes is a compelling sound piece: tracks are selected out of a craving for unique sound textures and the subtle emotions. She paints the picture of an artist whose music hits the dance floor with force, electrifying the crowd, while simultaneously bridging clubs and art spaces through memorable sonic experiences.

During her formative eight years in London, her distinctive sound brought her regular appearances at the legendary East London club Fold, as well as a residency with the renowned
Boudica — a platform dedicated to showcasing women, trans+, and non-binary artists while
exploring the deeper, more playful sides of electronic music.

Following her move to Berlin in 2025 with the appearance at OXI, RSO, Kitkat and Kwia, she continues to expand her musical footprint to cities such as Copenhagen, Vienna, Riga, Prague, Shanghai, Tokyo, Melbourne, and Seoul.
