So here is my first collection of songs. I probably re-recorded the same album 3 different times before cutting it down to a 4-track EP with the best versions. Track 3 is a hangover from the version of the album I recorded without bass guitar - before realising the bass should definitely go back in. All it took was a very experimental live performance with my deluge. I should also probably list equipment used:

Zoom R16 for demoing and some recording
Ableton
A shit ton of effects pedals that I am too lazy to list now, but the bass is octaved, chorused, and reverbed, and the volca ended up going through the vocal performer, Eventide mixing link lets you put vocals through guitar pedals, and it was ultimately a Shure SM58 microphone despite having a good ribbon mic. I reserve the right to overtly process and edit vocal takes to save time. If you feel like supporting my band then please do so, and make your way to bandcamp or similar. Get Smart! - Just for the Moment (Lawrence, 1984)

This took a long time to finally manifest. I did some edits, wrote the additional synth, percussion and lyrics around 3 years ago..

I was blacked out and unknowingly had recorded the demo vocals also at this stage. My life took a very different turn for the next 3 years and I gave up on creating things(and things in general) for a while. I accepted being a disappointment to KP like I always do & retreated inside and poisoned myself as much as I could for the next 1009 days The lyrics paint a clear picture that I was on some kind edge and at a point of utter dissolution

I kept promising KP I would finally finish off that track, not knowing I had already done it.

I somehow found my way back to this track a few weeks ago, it was far more complete than I ever remember it being..
I re-recorded the vocals, remixed it and mastered it best I could and here we are in 2025.

So here's a fragment of that journey crystalized now to be exposed to the air and sunlight to sting the wound again.
