On the occasion of 2 years from harsh Russian invasion into Ukraine, Synergy Cult has prepared a CHARITY UA compilation to raise funds for the volunteer association Kyiv Angels which helps civilians & army with equipment on the Ukrainian territory (FPV drones for the brave defenders in particular)! Cities in ruins, daily rocket attacks, shattered lives is still the reality in Ukraine at the moment.

We've gathered 25 talented artists from all parts of the world who contributed their incredibly top-notch compositions to support Ukraine! This is a narrative about love, support, friendship & synergy within the electronic music scene to bring the war to an end as soon as possible!

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Poison Point, the trancey body music solo endeavor of Paris-based producer and live performer Timothée Gainet. Introduced by Third Coming in 2016 and subsequently released on A+W and Young And Cold, his sonic evolution went from the motorik post-punk style of his early recordings to a more dancefloor-oriented dark electronic sound, infused with a captivating touch of military pop Je ne sais quoi.

In his new full length album "Wandering Echoes”, he showcases his diverse sonic palette, creating a unique fusion of infectious body music, entrancing synth-pop hooks and icy-cold melodies setting in flames the hearts of the romantics and nostalgics.

About ‘DER EKEL’ (engl. the disgust)

Divided into three acts, the project explores specific parameters of disgust.
The first act focuses on wounds and injuries, the second on mould and rotting materials, and the third on parasites, micro-organisms and vermin.

Viewers are invited to examine their own perceptions in relation to the psychological processes behind our aesthetic judgements. The combination of image and sound challenges emotional responses to extreme visual and auditory stimuli.

Mixed Emotion - Lords of Acid (Mekano remix)

One of the most interesting acts that's released regularly via трип​ though is PTU, a duo comprising of the USSR-born Alina Izolenta and Kamil Ea. 'A Broken Clock Is Right Twice A Day' is their latest EP and the seven-track odyssey touches upon all aspects of their production set.

We've got the first play of 'Yes', a high-octane, frantic techno jam, one that twists and turns like a demonic runaway train. It's intense and should be approached with caution, but also one that typifies just how diverse and bold трип​ is as a record label.

Liam Blackburn’s Ancestral Voices project is a nomadic journey of self discovery, exploring expansion of consciousness through sound. Since it’s inception in 2016 the project has traversed from transcendent ambient to jagged 170 bpm beat experiments over the course of 2 full length LP’s and 3 EP’s. In 2018 Liam launched his own label ‘The Fifth Kingdom’ with the entirely beatless release - Mycelia.

Liam returns to Horo to follow up his second LP ‘Divination’ for the label in 2017 with the next step in his musical evolution - Navagraha.

Navagraha means "nine celestial bodies" in Sanskrit. Each ‘Graha’ is a specific vibration and relates to the nine planets of our solar system, as well as the different parts of our body.

In 1978 Hans Cousto, a Swiss mathematician and musicologist discovered the natural law of the cosmic octave as the link between different kinds of periodically occurring natural phenomena, such as the orbit of the planets, the weather, colours, rhythms and tones.

For the Navagraha project​ ​Ancestral Voices has taken Hans Cousto’s ‘frequency’ of each planet and created a unique tuning system which he uses as the fundamental frequency for each track.

The result is a mixture of Ptolemaic, Pythagorean and other ‘Alternate’ Harmonic scales that can create a profound effect on the consciousness of the listener. Steering away from equal temperament opens up an infinite amount of possibilities and more ‘colours’ to paint the picture with.

Foundation and Early Years (1993–2003)

In 1993, DJ Zodiak (Marc Pulles) founded Zodiak Commune (partyorganisation), initially as a spontaneous rave after a birthday party. The collective quickly became a legendary force in the Dutch electronic underground. Zodiak was the driving force behind Zodiak Commune parties, a central figure in shaping the second wave of underground Acid and Electro in the Netherlands.

Foundation and Early Years (1998–2003)

Zodiak Commune Records (the label) was founded in 1998 by DJ Zodiak as the label arm of the Zodiak Commune collective. From the start, the label was vinyl-first, representing the raw and innovative spirit of Acid music.

The label released tracks covering the breadth of underground acid styles, including Acid Techno, Electro Acid, and Acid IDM, and quickly became recognized as an influential player in the Dutch electronic underground, helping to shape and sculpt the scene.

Between 1998 and 2003, the label also organized Zodiak Commune Records label parties at major cultural venues, including Effenaar (Eindhoven), Doornroosje (Nijmegen), 013 (Tilburg), and other locations across the Netherlands and Belgium.

Slower Phase (2003–2017)

After Zodiak stepped back as a DJ and transferred the Zodiak Commune party organization to a non-profit foundation in 2003, the label entered a slower period. Releases were less frequent, but Zodiak Commune Records remained active and respected in the underground scene.

Revival and Expansion (2017–Present)

In 2017, Zodiak fully reactivated the label, returning with renewed energy and focus. Since then, Zodiak Commune Records has expanded its activities and built a strong international presence, while remaining true to its vinyl-first Acid identity.

The label now operates multiple sub-labels, including:
* Deep Acid Records – Electro House–oriented
* Outlaw303 – Raw Acid and Electro Acid
* Same Size Soul – Pure Electro
This structure allows the label to explore different underground sounds while staying deeply rooted in the Acid movement.

Zodiak Commune Records places a strong emphasis on supporting new talent alongside established artists, providing a platform for fresh voices in the scene. The team behind the label includes:

Since 2003, Zodiak Commune (the party organization) and Zodiak Commune Records (the label) have been completely separate entities, each with its own team and activities. Zodiak remains fully involved with the label but is no longer connected to the party organization.
