With release nr. 11, Luv Shack Records are once again eager to exalt the diversity of their releases, while keeping up the quality.

LUV011 is the split EP of the two up and coming electronic music duos "Manhooker" and "Space Echo". Whilst both projects are still relatively new to the scene, they have equally made a stir with their first releases.

Manhooker consists of the two Berliners by choice Tomasz “Guiddo” Switala and Sebastian “Mavin” Magassouba. Their first release appeared on Ostgut Ton´s sublabel 'Unterton' and their second EP was recently released on german heavy hitters 'Sonar Kollektiv' - a collab with ex New Yorker Snax, featuring a remix by Justus Köhncke.

With 'Pushin & Shovin', Manhooker are once again evoking the spirit of classic soulful house hymns. It's an uplifting mix of 90s organs, filtered arpeggios and thick drums all held together by an acid bassline and Mavin´s shimmering vocals. And not to forget the trumpet solo!

The remix of 'Pushin & Shovin' comes from Brazilian wunderkind ROTCIV (who has already remixed Manhooker on their Unterton release). He strips off the smoothness of the original in favor of a more raw and analogue vibe. Its groove seems like a merger of modern electro and classic house, and although ROTCIV´s trademark stabs and pads are used quite ecstatically on this remix, the song structure remains just as strong as in the original.

On The flipside we have Space Echo, the duo of Viennese producer caTekk and (Luv Shack`s very own) Lee Stevens. Their first ever production as a duo was a remix for none other than Austra on Domino Records.

They're offering two equally powerful cuts on the B-side; 'Soul Power' is nothing short of a club burner. A mighty and continuously building ride of funk organs and disco drums, all with a delightfully modern touch. When the vocal kicks in for the first time, ringing in the break, the audience will surely fall into a frenzy when exposed to it! The disco guitars are just the icing on the cake.

'Soul People' takes a slightly more sensual path. Expect dreamy rhodes, dubbed out percussive organs, an almost reggae worthy bassline, a painfully sweet vocal hook and a sharp rhythm that make this track a perfect choice for every warmup, after-hours and daytime set!

With all its ingredients, LUV011 will provide something for everyone who loves electronic music with soul!

My friend Gundelach ( Writer of "Footsteps" and "You Will never sleep") Showed me this music and i felt i had to do an edit. This girl needs more attention as she is one of the most talented people i have come across in a long while. Show her some respect and check out her stuff. This is my take on her song "The Lake". "Just Le Me" Zoey Jones

Born in Lancashire, trained in London, lived in Lisbon, now,  travelling with the stars..

Since the age of 2, her first words were in song and her first steps in dance.

This is Zoey (Callandria) Jones.

Her grace and beauty in performance has not just influenced many Counties and Countries but has already travelled over 4 Continents.

Deliciously desirable, with an image sexier than Jessica Rabbit herself, Zoey has been climbing (a very elegant ) ladder since her appearance on the first ever Pop Idol competition, held in the UK. This was her first real introduction into the world of Pop music.

Training at Birds Performing Arts College in London, Zoey dreamt for her whole life to be a prima ballerina, however after her training, new doors started to open and different interests started to come her way. These directed her towards music, which has now become her driving passion.

Now, having bloomed into the artist that her journey has taken her today, Zoey has finally reached the milestone of making her first album ZOEY JONES- “don’t think”. Writing, producing and arranging, has been something of which she never knew she could do until this album was created. The album will take you on a journey through love and life. It is very straight forward in concept, but with each song being very different , sending out a different message through word, beat or rythme. A pop Jazz base, with hints of disco and house music, you will experience every different emotion while you sit back and enjoy listening to her album.

Throughout these years , Miss Jones, has already managed to get a lot of interesting credentials under her sparkly belt, inc last year, working with Jesus Luz ( Madonna ex) on a track called Sweet Mystery which was released on his recent album.  She held her solo debut performance at Internationally renowned Pop/Rock festival ROCK IN RIO in Lisbon last year, performing some of her original songs featured from her album, alongside artist and bands such as Omar, Incognito, Elton John, Muse, Leona Lewis, 2 many djs (+many more!).  She has travelled with her voice throughout  Africa, Canada, Europe and Asia through tours and corporate events and longer contracts. And in England she has performed at many festivals and University balls alongside artist such as Blue, Sonique, Chezney Hawks, Atomic Kitten and Hear´say.

This is still just the beginning for Zoey Jones. At 28 years she still has many stones left unturned and is one most imitations of artists.
