Label head and chief pilot Boom Shankar presents the first BMSS release for 2022: the second half of the mind-altering conceptual double compilation project "Ailihphilia". 

Following the label's dark/light dichotomy, LEVEL II reflects the label's "Sun side", featuring a more daytime and morning-oriented selection of Psytrance and Full On, liberally doused with a brain-melting smattering of Goa and Acid elements. 

The two halves unite to form a jaw-dropping 4-hour collection: one project, one journey, one narrative - a mirror of our souls, and a reflection of the deep psychedelic realms of the human psyche.

From the deep to the uplifting, old school to new school, this monolithic trip spans every aspect of the psychedelic trance scene, and crucially gives the involved artists an opportunity to showcase the full spectrum of their sound by featuring several tracks within the project. 

In this sense, Ailihphilia is a true reflection, a mirror, of BMSS' unique modus operandi - an approach that unifies both established artists and legends with new talents and up-and-coming artists, an international crew of producers, DJs and other misfits who fly in the face traditional sub-genre boundaries, focusing instead on true creativity and a profound dancefloor experience. 

The compilation features as a result some of the label's recent signings (Luminous from Greece and Protonix from India), some resident heavy hitters (Sabretooth from the UK, Ascent from Serbia, Mind Lab from Spain, Argon Sphere from Serbia), bolstered by some returning guests and close friends of the label (Solitary Shell from France, Main Ape from Poland and UNI feat. Kunmar from Japan)

Whilst LEVEL I spanned a wide range of trance subgenres, LEVEL II features a more consistent set of 10 true subterranean trance gems, the sort of secret treasures that are often found in the most remote and unexpected places - not necessarily in big releases from massive labels. These are the kind of exquisitely crafted, finely honed pleasure machines that will drive an underground dancefloor into a truly united trance-like state of abandon.

With Boom Shankar at the helm, BMSS Records once again push the boundaries of the psychedelic trance scene whilst firmly acknowledging its roots...an approach perfectly encapsulated by the palindromic mantra "Never Odd or Even".

Brahmasutra Records delivers a fresh mix by SX.

XS is the psytrance project of Mirko Gredig. Born 1988 and currently living in switzerland. XS focuses on night-time psy at around 150bpm, influenced by forest, twilight and darkpsy. 2018 he joined Brahmasutra Records and created his EP “Exolinguistics”. Constantly working on his music, lots of releases on compilations from different labels followed. Always on the hunt for new sounds, XS currently works on his next EP which will drop 5th of September on Brahmasutra Records.

The Brahmasutra is one of three most important texts in Vedanta along with the Principal Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita. It is also known as the Vedanta Sutra, deriving this name from Vedanta which literally means the “final aim of the Vedas”. Other names for Brahma Sutra is Sariraka Sutra, wherein Sariraka means “that which lives in the body (Sarira), or the Self, Soul”, and Bhikshu-sutra, which literally means “Sutras for monks or mendicants”.
The main aim of Brahmasutra Records is to derive the most important and upcoming talents in respect to Psytrance and Chill out music. The record label will emphasize more on innovative sounds rather than patronizing something which already exists thereby infusing a new trend of melodies and crunchy basslines. The motive of this record label is not to earn money but to help, support, promote the love and passion of talented producers and artists and giving them the opportunity to gain more experience at the same time.

Svess, aka Sophia went to her first ever psytrance party in 2003 and this was when her love for psytrance began. Never ever had she heard or felt music in this powerful way before. After many years of blissful experiences on dance floors all over the world her desire to learn how to mix had grown very strong.
In early 2014 she started her DJ journey and very quickly become a frequently booked DJ in London and later on the rest of the UK and internationally.
In 2015 she was signed to the Brazilian label Mosaico Records.
Her style can best be described as groovy, deep and highly energetic, ranging from morning psychedelic to deeper darker night time moods.
Her sets will take you on a powerful energetic and hypnotic journey filled with the full spectrum of psychedelic emotions.

Paramystical Records is a psytrance label consisting of a collective of international acting artists that already have shaped the scene with other projects. Scope of these new projects is to explore new musical soundscapes, to seek for innovative musicality, as well as tones, frequencies and new atmospheres intentionally designed for the dancefloor.

Goa Records proudly presents another masterpiece from adrenalin drum called Forest Of Dreams! Har-el Prusski started dealing with electronic music when he was 16. He studied in the ""Sound"" school in Tel Aviv, Midi & electronic Music programming, and got a job right away as a sound technician in a studio. But since, as he puts it, he didn't like making coffee to people, he quit right away and started building up his own studio.
First he started working with Daniel Beller- as the legendary Israeli duo- Testkard 225- making electro-industrial music. Their first performance was in the Beer Sheva University in the Negev Festival (which stunned some people there) and then they played in all the Tel-Aviv underground clubs: Penguin, Zman Amiti, Hagada Hasmalit etc. They released two tapes: Test 1 & Test 2. At that time Har-el listened to music such as Cabaret Voltaire, Krafwerk, Yellow and Depeche Mode.
