I used to spend a couple weeks at my Grandparents house when I was a boy. She set a good example and taught me what was truly important in life.  The world can go off the rails but God is control and will take care of you for all eternity if you seek him out.

These guys were just trying to make something happen with their music but were pretty green about the whole deal.   They are probably millionaires by now.   I like this one for some reason...  needs a few lyric tweeks but it is what it is.

True story!  I bought a Mesa Mk IV from a music store and it was like a big combination lock.  I got one really great sound and then tweeked too far and then tried to back up to get my tone again, but it was gone.  Too much going on with that amp!  It was a great deal but just wasn't my thing and I took it back :(   Tom Tarter played the solo on this one.

After moving to LA, we really got fed up fast with trying to get around in our rusted out 72 Pinto.  Once we hit the big time and were driven around in a limo, it wasn't as bad.  This song is the most requested song we have.  Al Sharpsticks was the drummer on this one.

Everyone knows this story, but it was being stranded in North Piedmont Hills Montana for 2 months until the blizzard stopped in the winter of 68 and then we finally were able to get back to LA.

The Simple Truth

I wanted to play drums, so my Dad buys a piano.  I didn't like it but looking back it was good.  Learned guitar at 20.  Got to the drums by 25.  My family is very musical and somewhat goofy so it all just sort of fits in place.  Mixing a song is as much work as writing and playing one.  A good song is like a good recipe, it's all flavor and balance.
