Matt Leese a.k.a  STARMER  is fast becoming a very accomplished and revered house music producer in the scene today.
His upfront tracks have played out on several radio shows/labels helping to break this incredible new music to his ever growing wider audience. One ambition being to reach out this authentic house sound to the four corners of the world.
Growing up in a very musical family, Starmer had always dreamed he wanted to make music.
A successful singer as a kid, at the age of 16 his musical influences profoundly changed.
 As he puts it :
‘House music is a major passion of mine…. hearing L.F.O / L.F.O (Warp) for the first time in 1990 totally blew me away! I remember hearing the track and feeling totally moved and inspired. It really was the start of my musical journey into raves and clubs. I left home soon afterwards and moved to Brighton where I would literally spend days standing in the local record shops, listening and learning all there was to know about all the greatest artists/labels that house music had to offer. It felt like every track had its very own unique/strong sound, which I hope is an ethos that I achieve in my own tracks today. I guess I’m striving to produce that seminal house track which will stand the test of time, encapsulated in those classic tracks’
Today (….besides being a successful marathon runner!) Starmer’s vision is simple. Create music with depth, strength, soul and attitude that will go the distance….
