This sounds more hopeful than the original. The original sounds much more tragic. Going for a hopeful feeling seemed odd at first, but writing the Spear Of Justice leitmotif in a hopeful/focus instead of tragic is actually quite a cool choice.

i love how this sounds like a reinterpretation of BAaTH if it were in a touhou game, like you heard the zunpets in the original and just went off and made it a full on touhou song. awesome work

the idea for something like this came to me suddenly a few days ago and i just had to go for it. pretty happy with i did with it. i always loved the second half of the main ruins/spear of justice melody. the part thats the 3/4 piano at the end of the original BAaTH. that part rocks.

OMG IM LIKE SUPER LATE FOR FATHERS DAY! I even forgor to say it to my own father cuz i forgor :sob:
this track honestly started with little to no inspiration or motivation and i was also not feeling that confident with making this but SHAZAM! this turned out more nicely than i expected!
you might be wondering, why is the ASGORE equivalent there even tho Heartache doesn't have it?? well asgore kind of still cared about toriel before he went insane and despite everything he still remembered an essence of her despite it being jumbled in his mind
like "I don't know who she is but I hear this tune attached to her. I don't really recall any of it but it sounds so familiar..."
