Wow! Dieses mal bekommt ihr ein Sahnehäubchen der Extraklasse auf die Ohren. Von hoch im Norden kommt er her und wir müssen euch sagen es weihna...halt ne, dass war doch ne ganz andere Story und auch wer komplett Anderes.

Okay, next try... Dieser feine Herr sorgt für satte Bässe und dreamy Flächen, die auf unser Gehör einprasseln. Ähnlich wie bei dem Tranceding mit dem beknackten Delfin, bloß in gut. Als ob Delfine auch irgendwas mit Musik am Hut hätten, geschweige denn überhaupt einen Hut haben. Dieser nette typ ausm Norden hingegen, hat's dafür mit Fischen (wobei Delfine ja bekanntermaßen keine Fische sind, aber das tut hier grad nix zur Sache). 

Nen Hut hat er zwar nicht aber dafür immer ne Cap und mit Musik kann er auch. Und eben genau deshalb weiß er, wie man nen ordentlichen Fang macht. Aber auch nur aufm Deck und nicht im Fangnetz, aber das is auch völlig in Ordnung so, denn fischen gehn wollen wir eh nicht, lieber das holzige Tanzbein schwingen. 

Wir sind froh dass wir den @Louwers für uns Heimlichs angeln konnten und er zu uns gehört wie die Sahne zur Torte. Bist du zu schwach, sind sie zu stark. So oder so ähnlich. Aber is ja auch völlig egal. 

Uff, lange Story, kurzer Sinn: 1 richtig gutes Mixtape is das geworden!

🧚🏼‍♀️Welche Artists und DJs inspirieren Dich?

Township Rebellion verfolge ich seit 2016 und bin immer sehr gespannt auf die neuen Releases, ihr Style ist sehr einzigartig.

Außerdem liebe ich die Tracks von Sainte Vie, seitdem ich das Burning Man Set 2019 gesehen habe bin ich ein richtiger Fan von seinen Produktionen geworden.

Als DJ auf jeden Fall Solomun, er war einer der DJs die ich von Anfang an verfolgt habe, besonders die 5h Sets vom BPM Festival México, leider findet dass nicht mehr statt.

🧚🏼‍♀️Wie viel Zeit nimmst du dir in der Woche für Musik?

Sehr viel, durch KataHaifisch (Podcasts & Label + Premieren Anfragen) das kostet alles viel Zeit, wenn dazu noch die Podcasts kommen die ich selber gestalte (Musik Diggin) und SoundCloud Nachrichten beantworten oder allgemeine Anfragen, würde ich auf 20-25h schätzen, obwohl auch nicht jede Woche identisch ist, kommt auch immer drauf an was gerade ansteht an Releases oder auch eigene Veranstaltungen.
Trotzdem ist es das beste Hobby was man haben kann❤️

🧚🏼‍♀️Welches Talent hättest du gerne und warum?

Da ich seit diesem Jahr endlich die Zeit und die gewisse Neugierde entdeckt habe fürs produzieren, hoffe ich dort noch ein bestimmtes Talent zu entwickeln, ist aber auch alles eine Frage der Zeit, weil man immer wieder neue Sachen (z.b Plugins & Ableton Features) entdeckt die einen dem Horizont erweitern können und es echt schwierig ist erstmal seinen eigenen “Style” zu finden.

When she came into the collective, we loved her from the start for being the most kind and loving creature. But we didn’t expect the nastiness that would come out of her behind the decks! Having played awesome sets on opening and closing duty, her pumpy sound and immaculate aura now made people go crazy in early peak-time. We are so proud of how she evolved in a blink of an eye and won’t forget our goosebumps during her performance. January 18th was my first gig of 2025 in Frankfurt. It was a co-event by Rebellion der Traümer and Tanzhaus West called "Berliner Naechte". My 3rd time playing in this club and, as always, I loved every sec of it.

So there it is. The Set that both of us would probably describe as one of our sickest experience. Playing the closing set at Schuhkarton on the opening Night was ridiculous and we are thankful for every single one who danced their asses of in the morning! To say Stephan Zovsky's career started in 2019 would be wrong. It would omit any mention of the two decades of DJing he’s got under his belt already, with countless gigs all over the place. It would omit any mention of his 2010 album ‘The Village’, produced with long-year musical partner Sandro Schäufler. It would omit any mention of his first set as Green Lake Project in 2016. No, to say his career started in 2019 would be plain out wrong.

Yet 2019 is a milestone year in the life of this prolific creative from Mecklenburg Vorpommern, that rural North-Eastern corner of Germany. It's the year his ‘Connect EP’ is out on 3000Grad Records, the first of a perpetual string of releases. It's the year Stephan Zovsky starts his own label Sueslide, a launching pad for his growing musical output that finally meets his notoriously high quality standards towards himself. It's also the year ‘GLP’ drops - the debut album of Green Lake Project, his successful joint venture with Mollono.Bass.

His ever increasing skill level as a DJ and producer resonates intensely with the scene and its dancefloors: His tracks rank high in prestigious charts. His inbox is flooded with remix requests, some even from rather remote music scenes like Indie or Trance. He is invited to perform his Stephan Zovsky liveact at Fusion Festival's famous Turmbühne in 2021.

His diverse background and tireless productivity make it impossible to pin Stephan Zovsky down to a particular genre. Anyway, mentioning his name in one breath with the term ‘Melodic Techno’ doesn't make him frown; the terms ‘tool-like’, ‘DJ-oriented’ or ‘club-ready’ make him smile. You won't hear him playing obvious bawl-along hits, but neither will you hear him playing nerdy, overly intellectual tunes. His understated, functional style sits comfortably in the middle, making him the perfect prime time artist for those moments when it's all about no-frills, strictly-thrills dancefloor ecstasy.

Das würde verschweigen, dass er an diesem Punkt schon auf zwei Jahrzehnte als DJ zurückblickt, auf unzählige Auftritte an ebenso vielen Orten. Es ist das Jahr, in dem 'GLP' erscheint, das erste Album von Green Lake Project, seinem erfolgreichen Gemeinschaftsprojekt mit Mollono.Bass.

Seine beständig wachsende Kunstfertigkeit hinterlässt in der Szene und auf ihren Dancefloors einen deutlich spürbaren Eindruck: Seine Tracks tauchen regelmäßig in viel beachteten Charts auf. Ihn erreichen immer mehr Anfragen für Remixes, sogar aus recht weit entfernten Szenen wie etwa dem Indie- oder Trance-Umfeld. Er wird mit seinem Stephan Zovsky Liveact auf die sagenumwobene Turmbühne des Fusion Festivals 2021 eingeladen.

Mit Blick auf seinen vielfältigen Hintergrund und seine unermüdliche Produktivität ist es schlichtweg unmöglich, Stephan Zovsky einem bestimmten Genre zuzuordnen. Wenn wir ihn in einem Atemzug mit dem Begriff 'Melodic Techno' erwähnen, dann runzelt er zumindest nicht die Stirn; wenn wir Begriffe wie 'toolartig', 'DJ-tauglich' oder 'tanzflächenkompatibel’' verwenden, dann schmunzelt er. Vorhersehbare Mitgröhl-Hits gibt es von ihm ebenso wenig zu hören wie allzu verkopften Frickel-Sound. Mit seinen funktionalen und doch subtilen Sets passt er ideal in jene Art von Spitzenzeit, in der es ganz ohne Hype und Schnickschnack einfach nur gediegen zur Sache gehen soll.
