Navigating us through these topsy turvy times, Joris Voorn whisks us back to a 92 state of mind with this powerful update of a stone cold Dutch techno classic.

Originally produced by The Tellurians (AKA Robert Smit, Ferry Corsten, John Matze and Rene de Ruyter) the original 'Navigator' was a humungous hit across Europe and helped to define the exciting European sound that was emerging in house and techno at the time. Now, 29 years later, the Spectrum boss closes the loop with sincerity, clarity and some seriously heavy bass.

Lowering the tempo, fattening the groove, bringing that demonic one-word vocal to life and adding weaves and weaves of little production details, 'Navigator' has been modernised with subtlety and dark nocturnal soul. Already a key track in Joris' 'Global Underground 43' mix album last year, this marks a whole new lease of life for a track that's older than many of us DJs and ravers alike. Released as the entire scene enjoys a whole new lease of post lockdown life.

EXTIMA presents Reincarnated [EP] by Rodez; one of the rising starts of the Turkish techno scene who keeps delivering internationally successful releases.

This EP is a very special one since EXTIMA management committed to make a release of Rodez, after he won the Battle of DJs competition in Bogazici University of Istanbul in 2022. After his hard work and the label's exquisite selections, Rodez brought up a seamless EP thanks to his subtle but haunting elements together with catchy vocals by Eva Vox. His riotous atmospheres make it perfect for peak times in an underground venue.

Label boss Mehmet Ozbek supported the headline track with a ruthless remix with a sense of destruction. Ugur Project made his contribution to the EP delivering his super skills of mix and mastering.

Superfancy Recordings is back on track. The second release after the label's relaunch comes from Stephan Zovsky (3000° Records, Style Rockets): After several remixes and compilations „Maybe Less“ EP is his first solo release on Superfancy Recordings.
„Horizont“ and „We Should“ are two true melodic techno hymns. Driving beats in combination with spheric lead sounds and arpeggio sequences which stay in mind turn these tracks in some dancefloor killers.
„ID Error“ is a tech house track par excellence. Pumping beats meet an extremely groovy bassline, which is supported by an organ hookline. Together with catchy vocal snippets this track will drive the crowd on the dancefloor mad.
In his remix Oscar OZZ (Katermukke, Lordag, Supdub) reduces the original to the core. He transforms the organ loop of „ID Error“ into a hypnotic sequence which he then combines with a vocal loop and minimal beats into a nice minimal house groover.

After some apparences on our imprint, contributing to RePhrase Collection series and recent compilation "La Danse", it is now the time to give Balam a proper space to express his huge talent.
"Chants of Pachamama" is the first part of two releases promised on Hard Fist records. Constructed like a tribute to latin rhythms and percussion, which are central in Balam's works, this first EP is a mix of influences coming from acid house to electronica, passing by many traditional and ancestral amazonian music roots.
In addition to those 4 originals, label happy to welcome the Mexico-based producer Bufi, also well-known under his other alias Theus Mago, for a dark and melodic remix which sign the first collaboration of the two latin artists.

To say Stephan Zovsky's career started in 2019 would be wrong. It would omit any mention of the two decades of DJing he’s got under his belt already, with countless gigs all over the place. It would omit any mention of his 2010 album ‘The Village’, produced with long-year musical partner Sandro Schäufler. It would omit any mention of his first set as Green Lake Project in 2016. No, to say his career started in 2019 would be plain out wrong.

Yet 2019 is a milestone year in the life of this prolific creative from Mecklenburg Vorpommern, that rural North-Eastern corner of Germany. It's the year his ‘Connect EP’ is out on 3000Grad Records, the first of a perpetual string of releases. It's the year Stephan Zovsky starts his own label Sueslide, a launching pad for his growing musical output that finally meets his notoriously high quality standards towards himself. It's also the year ‘GLP’ drops - the debut album of Green Lake Project, his successful joint venture with Mollono.Bass.

His ever increasing skill level as a DJ and producer resonates intensely with the scene and its dancefloors: His tracks rank high in prestigious charts. His inbox is flooded with remix requests, some even from rather remote music scenes like Indie or Trance. He is invited to perform his Stephan Zovsky liveact at Fusion Festival's famous Turmbühne in 2021.

His diverse background and tireless productivity make it impossible to pin Stephan Zovsky down to a particular genre. Anyway, mentioning his name in one breath with the term ‘Melodic Techno’ doesn't make him frown; the terms ‘tool-like’, ‘DJ-oriented’ or ‘club-ready’ make him smile. You won't hear him playing obvious bawl-along hits, but neither will you hear him playing nerdy, overly intellectual tunes. His understated, functional style sits comfortably in the middle, making him the perfect prime time artist for those moments when it's all about no-frills, strictly-thrills dancefloor ecstasy.

Vorhersehbare Mitgröhl-Hits gibt es von ihm ebenso wenig zu hören wie allzu verkopften Frickel-Sound. Mit seinen funktionalen und doch subtilen Sets passt er ideal in jene Art von Spitzenzeit, in der es ganz ohne Hype und Schnickschnack einfach nur gediegen zur Sache gehen soll.
