Pianiste et compositeur de la BO d'Intouchables, Ludovico Einaudi nous propose sa sélection de titres. 
On y découvre un artiste à l'élégance naturelle et à la délicatesse mélodique inégalable.

Originaire de Turin, Ludovico Einaudi étudie le piano et la composition au Conservatoire Verdi de Milan. Déjà très connu en Italie ainsi qu’en Grande Bretagne et en Allemagne, il sort un premier album en France début 2006 : un duo piano-kora avec Ballaké Sissoko intitulé Diario Mali.

Mais c’est avec l’album Divenire, sorti en septembre 2007 qu’il s’impose auprès du public français. L’album Nightbook, suit en 2009 et confirme sa réputation. Un double CD+DVD du concert du Nightbook Tour, Live au Royal Albert Hall sort alors en 2010.

En 2011 Einaudi signe la BO du film Intouchables, avec François Cluzet et Omar Sy. Le film, en salles depuis le 2 novembre 2011, connaît un succès phénoménal.

Einaudi Essentiel retrace le parcours français du pianiste compositeur. Sélectionnés par Ludovico lui-même, cette compilation inclut non seulement les morceaux l’ayant rendu célèbre en France (Fly, Divenire...) mais aussi des compositions jouées en concert et restées inédites.
