I’m Sandra, a dancer with a deep love for movement and music. My style blends everything from contemporary to hip-hop to street dance, creating something that feels both natural and raw. Music has always been my biggest inspiration, and I’m always looking to connect the rhythm of a track with the flow of my body.

For many years I concentrated on painting, but meanwhile I come back to music more and more. I always like to connect the different mediums, also writing lyrics. I play several instruments with main instrument classical guitar. I'm no singer, but sometimes I like to send a message.

Here’s The Distant Survivors, the opening track to album Crystal Monuments. The album is as much chill as it is ambient. But it’s perhaps best seen as chilly, rather than chill. 
The Distant Survivors is a slow piece full of open spaces. It’s described as both “Endless grey skies. Dim sunlight. Seeping cold…” and “An overflight of a distant fjord where unexpected people are found.” This makes it sound austere and a bit unwelcoming. It’s not really like that at all. 
The synths have a rounded warmth and welcome. It’s a track that enjoys places to roam. Views to be seen. Things that are far off. It takes its time to unfold. It’s a beatless wander through snowdrifts. Crystalline.
