Flicker of the Real

I'm here to share and appreciate all genres of music.  Most of what I am currently recording is electronic, and largely ambient, in nature; however, I have recently started recording cover songs of various tunes.  So, since I'm no longer strictly ambient (only mostly), I've changed my SoundCloud name to Smooth Waters Sonic Journeys.  Headphones greatly enhance the listening experience. Hi, I’m Tim. Under the name Epigenetics I create electronic ambient music, or as I like to call it: Space Music. 

My style & sound have elements of Downtempo, Psybient and Electronica where I combine strong melodies and driving rhythms with the goal of creating soundtracks for journeys outwards or inwards.

I have been making 'analog' music with my piano and guitar, since I was young, before making the change to electronic music. I think you might hear the influence of that.
These days I use a MIDI keyboard and VST's to record the tracks one by one in Ableton Live. And then do the mastering in Adobe Audition.
