3. Smoke Sign & Enki - Blues Man (Original Mix)

This is a collaboration work created after a request from a wonderful artist called Computart to add percussion and some synth phrases to his song "Procession".
 The song is wonderful, and the bass sound and the exquisite gradation of the drone make the song impressive.
 "Is it okay to add my sound to a song that has been completed at such a high level?" I hesitated a bit (about 20 seconds), but my own curiosity ignited, so I added a lot of sounds and it was done.

This song started as a recording of Computart playing the guitar and singing/whistling to a metronome, which you can find raw on his page. Having worked together before on a song called The Shining, the Frenchman reached across the pond again and asked me, the Yank, if I would like to add anything to this. This style of music being one of my favorites, I jumped at the chance. Of course, I got Ken involved right away because every great song needs a great drummer. I came up with a bass line, to which Ken added drums, to which I in turn redid my bass line, as is our usual process. I then added the mandolin. Then, Ken added the hand drums to put the icing on the cake. Tez was generous enough to produce and mix this for us, and we feel like he got it to sound like we were all playing in the same room together.

I'm happy to present soon my new album "Soul Pulse". I started a new job this month, so I'm a bit slow to finish the mix. So here it is a very direct track I just did between yesterday (electronic) and today (bowls), trying to capture the essence of this album. Mainly I played with singing bowls and other meditative instruments like tongue drums, custom percussions mixed with electronic. I was inspired by this kind of electro/techno, with repetitive beats, trying to express the link between body and soul, very organic, a kind of spirituality all pumping by blood, and how everything is connected. And the power of will. It's all about being alive. This is how I would describe this bunch of tracks - and this quick track could be an introduction.

Before this, I must say I don't particularly care for placements in the slightest. I came to this competition merely to bless your days with Ascensionism, and I must say I fuckin' love the fans of mine who stayed loyal to me and my goal. Shades, Fabrice, Miles, and New York Pizza were all fine foes and deserved their victories, so please keep civil, don't be a no-good blood sucking monster about this all. This time was a most interesting one, I could have left at any moment, yet the people here were interesting and of course could've used used the help to stop the devil from breaking down them down. On that note, I do give my condolences to who we've lost, I was always interested in the anomalies of the Eilish family's newer members, and it saddens me for things to have ended how they did (and if you are reading this, Cici, please know that I sincerely believe Stella's been born into a new life as of now, Yeezus walks for both of you, and I hope you two meet again one day). In spite of my final placement, I hope my followers wave their lighters and middle fingers in the air one last time, I hope this isn't too somber of a note.
