he just released his debut ep on @olfhannelecordings and its a good one, this cold new wave post israel vibe he got going on there is something else, and he's been so busy working on his album, we can't really wait to hear it already!!

Happy Trails

Dit is de tweede aflevering van Studio Oddstream. In een serie van drie afleveringen spreken curatoren Anne Hermsen en Lieke Wouters over Hidden Structures, het thema van het Oddstream-programma 2019. 
In dit programma onderzochten we de hoedanigheid van verborgen structuren als het internet, en in hoeverre deze onze maatschappij beïnvloeden.
In oktober vond de expositie Hidden Structures plaats in de historische kelders van Arnhem

Tijdens de expositie spraken we met enkele kunstenaars over het werk dat er te zien was.
In deze aflevering luisteren we vanaf 2:51 naar een interview met Katarina Petrovic.

In samenwerking met de De Nieuwe Oost (voorheen Wintertuin) nodigden we drie schrijvers uit een tekst te schrijven naar aanleiding van één van de werken in de expositie. In Studio Oddstream dragen zij hun werk voor. Marjolein Takman liet zich inspireren door Connecting the Dots van Jeroen van Loon, te beluisteren vanaf 35:00.

¡Escúchame, Cabrón! is a limited-edition C50 cassette announced for pre-order on International Women's Day and made up exclusively of female artists or groups and collaborations featuring a strong female presence. 

The purpose of the release is to bring to light, in our own small way, the systemic violence and oppression of women in Spain and around the world and to highlight the incredible female voices present in industrial and synthwave music today. 

Spain is a country close to our hearts. It's a beautiful, historic, energetic and culturally-rich nation. Today, the problems women have to face in a society that is generally a privileged population are completely unnecessary. Problems such as being cross-examined in rape trials, gang rape cases being downgraded to sexual assault and an abundance of domestic violence. An average of one woman in killed by her partner per week.

In 2017 Spanish courts received more than 166,000 gender violence complaints against woman - a 16% increased on the year before. Spain is certainly not an exception. Some national studies show that up to 70 per cent of women have experienced physical and/or sexual violence from an intimate partner in their lifetime.
