‘Now There Forever’ started as an experiment with one of my newest favorite synths. A deep dive into its textures led me into a world of analog dissonance that somehow just clicked. I found a groove in the tension, shaping something that felt uniquely mine. The vocal came from an old recording session with a singer I used to collaborate with. The moment I sampled that take, it hit me right in the chest. Raw, emotional and perfectly imperfect. From there, everything fell into place. The rest? Pure instinct.

Faus Rittner is an Argentine DJ and music producer. He has been experimenting with electronic music production for the past two years, and since August 2024, he has launched his career as a DJ. He began his journey exploring melodic techno, inspired by the atmospheres and textures of the Afterlife label. Over time, he moved away from that style and found a deeper connection with the groove and energy of progressive house, a genre that now defines his musical identity. This artistic shift was strongly influenced by his training as a DJ under Matías Chilano, who provided him with the tools to refine his skills behind the decks.

Freezing winters, packed after-hours, and a scene that thrives just outside the spotlight is Montreal’s rhythm. This VA draws from that energy.

Guy Laliberté invited a handful of local artists reworking Cirque du Soleil in their own language: raw, stripped-back, and built for the dance floor.

Each remix brings something different to the table, but they’re united by a shared sense of restraint. The grooves are tight, and the low-end does most of the talking. You’ll recognize the DNA of the originals, but the context is new.

Hicky & Kalo’s take on Temperatio stands out for its deep emotional pull — hypnotic yet understated, it channels the track’s theatrical origins into something more intimate and meditative, perfectly tuned for the early hours.

This VA is about grounding Cirque du Soleil in the pulse of the city. In studios, on dark floors, through sound systems that favor pressure over perfection. It’s a subtle, thoughtful collection that reflects where Montreal is at right now.
