Beyond the Horizon is an uplifting vocal trance track that describes an immense euphoric feeling that leaves one feeling like they are flying in the sky and being taken beyond the horizon. The lyrics are undoubtedly sexual, but can also be interpreted as being about being alone and longing for intimacy. When I came up with the idea for Beyond the Horizon, I knew that I wanted to write a love-themed song, but I didn’t want to write a typical “I’m madly in love and I want you” type of song. I wanted to write something that not only captures the passion of love, but also the feeling of emotional release that comes with letting the experience of being with that special someone take over you.

The vocals used spoke to me of a time when we face that fear, rational or not that feels oppressive like an all consuming darkness... The mood of the track is downtempo electronic and creates an energy to overcome that darkness...
