IAMSVRP (Shihran Pathy) is a Progressive House & Techno DJ Hailing from the rainy city of Seattle, and is currently living in El Paso, USA. 

His love for electronic music stemmed from over 10 years ago, when he accidentally stumbled upon Eric Prydz’s dance music classic, Pjanoo, while on a trip with family. This infatuation for dance music has flourished since then. His main influences include Eric Prydz, Cristoph, Charles D, Joris Voorn, Layer J, among many others. 

His work on the popular electronic music forum 1001tracklists goes unnoticed and he has been ranked amongst the top 50 users of the site over the last two years. 

In addition, iamsvrp has played a multitude of shows in the El Paso and Seattle areas, and has had his own work supported by Cristoph, Ev Rymd, VORA, Bud Cahill among many others.

A few updates from me:
The big news around Texas right now is the upcoming total solar eclipse next week.  The weather isn't looking great, but we're hoping to enjoy over 4 minutes of totality.  If you've not seen a total solar eclipse before, it's a cool and surreal experience.  I highly recommend you add it to your bucket list.

In other news, construction has begun on my new large art piece, the Cosmic Zone, a 6 meter wide dome that will be like a portable planetarium with amazing shows.  This will debut at Burning Flipside at the end of May, and will go to Burning Man in September.  There's a ton of work to do, but I have some talented collaborators so I'm confident we'll pull it off.  As a college professor once told me, sleep is for the weak!
