Being socialised by a bunch of Westphalian music enthusiasts of the late 90s, Philipp Fein commenced his musical career making himself a name as a respected Hip Hop DJ, only to end up realising that his true dedication would be electronic music. All these eclectic influences can be heard in his music, be it in his unpredictable vinyl- heavy DJ sets, his original productions and remix works (for example with Johannes Klingebiel as “106er”) or as co-founder, booker and resident of “Feines Tier”, one of Cologne’s favourite electronic music happenings. In late 2015 he opened the temporary space called „Jackwho“ in Cologne together with a bunch of friends. He has his residency in Cologne at well known Gewölbe and plays Berlin clubs like Kater Blau or Sisypos on a regular basis. Besides that he’s used the better amount of his recent leisure time to bring his bee keeping skills to perfection.

The Italian-German composer, DJ and founder of the record label 99CHANTS. He has been releasing music since 2010, but it took self- evaluation and a re-examination of his priorities for August to lean towards the future and follow his most experimental inclinations.
In 2023, his output is harder than ever to define, stretching across genres and disciplines to chafe the heart of the human experience.

Irwin Leschet ist kein Genre-Nazi – er baut Brücken. Alte Klassiker treffen auf frische Sounds, Techno umarmt House, und Mashups entstehen live, wenn er Tracks aus völlig verschiedenen Welten nahtlos ineinander schiebt.
Mit jahrzehntelanger Erfahrung liest er jede Crowd wie ein offenes Buch. Ob vorbereitete Perlen aus seiner tiefen Plattenkiste oder spontane Eingebungen im Club: Irwin wählt immer den richtigen Track zur richtigen Zeit.
Sein Backkatalog reicht weit zurück, sein Ohr bleibt am Puls der Gegenwart. Das Ergebnis: Sets, die überraschen, treiben und gleichzeitig vertraut klingen – als wären die Tracks füreinander gemacht.

Irwin Leschet is a DJ who refuses to be boxed in. He’s no genre fundamentalist – instead, he connects dots across decades and styles, creating seamless journeys where house embraces techno, classics meet cutting-edge tracks, and live mashups happen in real time. Every mix feels natural, as if those tracks were destined to play together.
With decades of experience behind the decks, Irwin has mastered the art of reading a crowd. Preparation matters, but it’s his instinct in the moment that makes the difference – always pulling the right track, whether it’s a hidden gem from his deep back catalog or a brand-new cut fresh from today’s scene. His ear is rooted in history, yet firmly tuned to the pulse of the present.
Irwin’s story in electronic music goes beyond DJing. Since 1992, he has been creating spaces for people to come together – from organizing events to shaping Cologne’s underground as a resident at Liquid Sky, the legendary Elektro Bunker Parties, and Club Camouflage. He has also run two techno labels and contributed as an editor and writer for magazines such as Raveline, DJ Mag, Keyboards, Amazona, and Bonedo, documenting and pushing the culture forward.
For him, DJing is more than mixing records – it’s a lifelong mission: to bring people together through music, energy, and shared moments on the dancefloor.
