Jeff as been mixing since 1982 beginning to make mix tape montage on Revox A-77 while listening Dr Silk & Danny Le Rouge on Couleur 3 but started it more seriously in 1985 with Funk Music. In 1986, the House of Chigago appeard and the first Acidhouse party were given in Geneva.
In 1988, he decided to focus on Hip Hop. He was particularly intersted in "scratching", wich is a real passion. He won the D.M.C. Championship in Switzerland three times in a row (in 1991-1992-1993), took part at the "DMC World DJ mixing championship" in London (9th place) and the European in Amsterdam (6th place). https://www.youtube.com/user/jeffswing/videos

In 1991, the UDM (Underground Dance Movement) contact Jeff and offers him to make a scratching demo on techno music. Jeff accepts and plays during the first UDM partys. At that time, the reference label was "Plus 8 & U.R". The first Olympia party was given at l'Ancien-Palais in 1992 by Jeff & Alex Anthony.
In 1999, Jeff decides to created his new label Stark Records : http://www.discogs.com/label/23802-Stark-Records. 05 Fades is not just some lame who took up rapping as a vehicle to elevate his social status or fulfill his desire for outer validation. 

In fact, what lies behind the 05 Fades' persona is a man with a full spectrum of experiences ranging from devastation to euphoria. Through his signature 05 fades passion and hard work, his life stories manifest into music in the form of unadulterated hip hop. 

05 Fades crafted his rap artistry by implementing his vibes and encounters from across the globe as his journey in life took him from the Middle East, through North Africa and into Europe. Across the Atlantic is where his formative years were spent in coastal Virginia and the hip hop capital New York City, regions which have educated some of the most prolific emcees. He later trekked to the west coast, sampling the best of what California culture had to offer. Make no mistake about the location of his foundation, he has Beirut's blood sweat and tears ingrained into his mind body and soul. He will always strive to be the voice of the city which lives in constant volatility. 

The 05 Movement is not just a group of individuals with trivial motives and superficial alliances. This movement partakes and identifies with the 05 fades narrative and adopts it as its own.

So every word, bar, hook, track or even whisper you hear from 05 Fades is as real and genuine as it gets.
