As I have been hosting live radio and recording mixes for quite some time now, I thought I'd gather up some of my proudest, most memorable and most enjoyable moments into one place for you all to get your groove on to! While Chicago is certainly the birthplace of House music, Milwaukee can also lay claim to House history, specifically the French flavor. Debuting in North America in 1996, Daft Punk played their first States side show in Milwaukee, a detail clavette has never gone a day without reminding himself. clavette, the Milwaukee native and LA based DJ & producer, has built his career on the fact that big things can start from humble beginnings. 

Relocating to Los Angeles in 2013, clavette deeply steeped himself into the music industry, working on projects for major recordings artists such as Baby Jake, as well as high profile composing clients like Chanel, Ray Ban, Nike, and Tidal. An avid French House-head, clavette started the moniker end of 2019, tirelessly preparing his sound in his home studio, using the influences of artists like DJ Falcon, Alan Braxe, and Le Knight Club of the late 90’s and early 2000’s French House scene as his guiding light. 

While the landscape of the live music industry changed dramatically in the early months of 2020, clavette debuted his project with an emphasis on strong digital releases focusing on songwriting, groove, and melodic nostalgia. Fast forward 2021, clavette has made quite the name for himself in only a short amount of time, blending sounds of Disco and French House with conviction. clavette has already garnered the attention of industry heavyweights like Diplo, Mark Knight, and Roger Sanchez via BBC Radio 1, Sirius XM, and KISSFM UK. Showing his foundations are rooted firmly in the traditions and history of House music, clavette aims to add his unique voice to the conversation in what he calls “French House Revival.” Having debuted a guest mix for prestigious Radio FG, as well as scoring multiple Genre Top 10 positions on Beatport and Traxsource via his releases with Toolroom Trax, Simma Black, and Deep Root Records, clavette is poised to make big strides in the coming year and beyond.

Swiss musical mastermind Christian Beat Hirt has been a constant force in the music industry since the 90s. A globally renowned producer and label owner, he launched his Me & My Toothbrush alias in 2013. This dynamic, two hour deep/tech/funky house jam is laced with Latin/tribal influence from start to end, featuring hot new music, timeless classics, and many tracks in my Latin stash that I just LOVE!

D-Vox - 'El Ritmo' Guest Mix with Live Vocals for Compatible Music - Sept 2025

My competition entry is dedicated to my dear, late cousin, Pietro Gandolfo, who was taken from us in a tragic accident aged just 39. Pietro LOVED techno. He was a DJ too, and gave me my first exposure to turntables when I was 15 in his home country of Sicily. 

The journey features my complimentary vocals sung over three tracks, whilst live in the mix, in Italian. I speak to Pietro on behalf of myself, our family, and his friends, wishing him peace, and letting him know we'll be there to rave with him soon.

Recording this mix, whilst holding back tears, was one of the hardest things I have ever done. Whenever I play this mix I know Pietro is listening. I hope you enjoy it.

Decoded Magazine Mix Of The Month November Submission - DJ D-Vox

Introducing my latest guest mix aired Saturday 15/11/25 on @saturo-sounds radio for the wonderful @jp-sykes, and his 8-year running show - Conversations! Thx so much for having me, JP, and thx to all who joined us for the party - the chatroom was buzzing!🥳

This brand new, progressive house mix is the deepest of the deep, and features OUTSTANDING new music from around the world. I am really enjoying the deep prog sound that's emerging right now, from the imaginations of the talented producers behind all the magic! Thank you all for your incredible, underground moods!👏🏽
