Throughout the lyrics, there is a pervasive sense of defiance and resistance against external forces, as well as a haunting awareness of the inevitability of mortality. The exploration of these themes weaves a poignant narrative of a being grappling with its own existence and the profound challenges that come with it. The inclusion of sometimes surreal imagery adds a dreamlike quality, intensifying the emotional depth of the struggle.
