For our 10th Come B2B With Me we head to NoDave's hometown Cardiff and welcome a UK garage legend / hugely talented open format DJ for a serious level up! 

It's Fabian Dubz!

This is not your standard B2B! With both Fabian and myself NoDave rocking different controllers and operating systems, the solution was to bring both of them to the location and run them through a central mixer. This allowed us to still go 3-for-3, but also have complete independence to trigger loops, vocals, shots, samples and scratches over each others blends. 

The line between b2b and bare jamming has been obliterated on this one as we slide, glide, cut, chop, shuffle and bump our way through garage, bassline, house, breaks and even little splashes of Afrobeat, electro and funky house. 

It tells such a sweet story, too... Every other mix in this series has eventually raised the tempo but while this gets raucous in many different ways, it never goes out of that sweet 130-ish spot where every flavour and ingredient can be hurled into the pot and it all tastes so sweet.

As I say in the concluding interview - if we had a plan we'd be dangerous. This is a RIDICULOUSLY fun mix and one I hope to repeat in the near future. 

Fabian and I may have shared the same dancefloors and bought records from the same DJs growing up (big up Richie Vibe Vee and High Contrast!) and we may have met a bunch of times through industry bizzle over the years, but this moment on an otherwise unsuspecting Thursday night in a closed basement bar (big up Mocka Lounge and 1Below!) we actually connected on such a deep musical level. There are points on this mix where we move in complete sync. And that's what these Come B2B With Me sessions are all about.
