From hip-hop to house, dub to drum & bass and all Celtic things between, it's a brand new episode of Cwm Dancing!

Celebrating six months of this project, host and curator Dave Columbo Jenkins is extra fizzy this month as he returns from this year's FOCUS WALES event with a recorder full of interviews, a bag full of exclusives and a head frothing with inspiration.

Celebrating Welsh sonic produce in a unique and high enthusiastic way, this month's show features a guest mix from DJ Butch Queen, interviews with Minas, 4DEE, DJ Blondy, Dave Acton and Alex from Porters Presents and music right across the spectrum including many exclusives you will not hear anywhere else.

Cwm Dancing! Episode 6 (May 2023)

Sasha Khan & Patience join forces for an incredible Artcore Jungle EP for Omni. Both artists have been honing their skills over time and together their magnificent sounds are multiplied. This EP will appeal to both the Jungle crowd and the Atmospheric crowd. Adventures in Wonderland entices the listener in with frenetic beats and bass but with that distinct Omni-edge, as pleasing pads and melodies compliment the Artcore grooves. Gravity relaxes the listener with a more laidback approach, as rolling beats playfully twist and turn over the deep musical harmonies. Stepping Out drops the listener straight into the classic 90's breakbeat Jungle sounds, but with a modern twist, interspersed with light touches of atmospheric soul. Finally, Blessed Dub ends the EP with beautiful amen edits, blissed out pads and hooks that will surely induce goosebumps. This is an incredible meeting of minds and Omni look forward to hearing what they masterfully create next.
