Räuber*innenhöhle - Fusion 2022

Gemächlich stapft sie dort, die Discowölfin, entlang des Horizonts fängt sie die ersten Sonnenstrahlen ein. Ihr Fell ist benetzt von euphorisiertem Schweiß und dem Glitzer der Nacht, das wie ein Sternenstaubschleier über ihr hängt. Sie kratzt sich am zu wachen Kopf, ihre Pfoten sind müde und doch entzückt von den letzten Stunden Glückseligkeit im treibenden Sand. Die Discokugel um ihren Hals flüstert ihr vertraulich zu "Eine Station liegt noch auf deinem Weg" und so dubt sie weiter und weiter und weiter...

There are a thousand cherished moments that we associate with this club. One of them occurs in the early hours of the morning, when the light streams into Theater through the stained glass windows. As the bass resonates through your veins and your limbs twitch with joy, the sunlight delicately caresses the faces of the dancers. These smiles, dipped in bliss, are unforgettable. We had the pleasure of performing for this beauty in the first morning hours of this year. And we want to express our gratitude a thousand times over with this recording. Thank you for the countless aching muscles from laughing and dancing, for the tears in our arms, and, above all, thank you for the sincerity you bestowed upon us, MENSCH MEIER. You were uniquely valuable in the club cultural landscape and will be missed forever. Love forever! Forever Mensch Meier!

Es gibt tausend liebste Momente, die wir mit diesem Club verbinden. Einer davon ist in den frühen Morgenstunden, wenn das Licht durch das bunte Fensterglas ins Theater scheint. Während der Bass durch die Glieder vibriert und die Gliedmaßen vor Freude zucken, streichelt das Sonnenlicht zärtlich die Gesichter der Tanzenden. Diese in Glückseeligkeit getunkten Lächeln sind unvergesslich. Wir hatten das Vergnügen, in den ersten Morgenstunden dieses Jahres für diese Schönheit zu spielen. Und wir möchten mit dieser Aufnahme tausendfach Danke sagen. Danke für die unzähligen Muskelkater vom Lachen und Tanzen, für das weinende In-den-Armen-Liegen und vor allem für all die Aufrichtigkeit, die du uns geschenkt hast, MENSCH MEIER. Du warst einzigartig wertvoll in der Clubkulturlandschaft und wirst auf immer fehlen. Für immer Liebe! Für immer Mensch Meier!

What we need now - maybe more than ever - is love. Not the image of love that we often carry around in clichés, but love in its true essence, its inescapable core. We need love in a radical way that unfolds its strength precisely in its fragile vulnerability, is aware of its fallibility and is therefore committed to the process and growth. A love that places the WE and not the EGO at the center of its actions. In other words, a love that is aware of its social and political responsibility, is active and wants to shape and heal. 
Imagine a world immersed in this love, in which we use all our knowledge, our skills and our wisdom for the benefit of all and not to maximize profit. 
In this spirit and full of love, I now share this summer memory with you. It was a hot dream on an august night at the Garbicz Festival. But whoever comes to action after dreaming creates new realities. So my biggest thanks go to all those who have supported me in making this dream come true. 

Wherever you are and however you spend these next few days, be good to yourselves and to each other and don't forget the paradises we can create together when we unite instead of divide.
