Over the Mountains is Segue's second full length release with Silent Season, the long time coming follow up to 2013's Pacifica. In a similar vein to Pacifica, Over the Mountains transports the listener to a different place and time, somewhere deep under a forest canopy on an unknown path leading to a majestic mountain vista somewhere above the clouds. The only thing keeping you going is knowing that things will only get better, because you never know what's waiting over the next hill. Like an all day adventure through the Canadian Rockies, the album hits many highs and lows, driving forward at a relentless, hypnotic pace that lures you into a timeless sense of space. Once again Segue delivers a collection of long ambient-dub tracks that are filled with just the right amount of melody to provoke the mind of a focused listener, or to provide a serene atmosphere to fill any space.

Tresor Records is glad to present the Disintegrating Sand EP, first release by the legendary Mike Parker on the label.
Parker has been an influential figure in the electronic music scene for more than twenty years, throughout which he has established an arsenal of unique sonic trademarks, produced and modulated with high precision.

True to Mike Parker’s traditional style, Disintegrating Sand is both driving and hypnotic. The EP’s title track is especially evocative of Parker’s penchant for analogue sound: raw oscillations cascade over a highly reverbed bassline that periodically punctuates the track. Though the electricity that Parker introduces on the A side intensifies and expands in "Angels in Cages", "Gyroscopic Precession" is perhaps the apogee of the build up and the most driving track on the EP. The track is nuanced in its steady introduction of sweeping effects that arch over heavy kicks and an abrasive midrange.

Parker’s abstractions of sound and texture are immediately recognizable to contemporary audiences, and his latest EP marks a particularly thrilling addition to a rich discography.

Originally released on vinyl by R&S in 1994, ‘Meditation Will Manifest’ was re-earthed in 2016 by Nina Kraviz and Ricardo Villalobos, becoming a secret weapon on dancefloors 22 years after its original release. On December 16, ‘Meditation Will Manifest’ gets its first digital release on R&S.
 
Josh Wink has always been ahead of musical trends and walks his own path in dance music. From a young age Wink was exposed to different mysticism and consciousness philosophies. “It wasn’t a big, popular or trendy thing to do at the time, but I was 14 and just did what my mother did… Releasing tracks like ‘Meditation Will Manifest’ and ‘Higher States of Consciousness’, people looked at me as being this deeply profound spiritual guy, but I never really thought about it in that way, even though I’m really into repetitive, transcendental and meditative rhythms. I don’t do drugs, so I never really had another outlet to get into alternative states.” – Josh Wink (taken from recent Mixmag article).

Through darkness comes light isolates the movements of nature and the artists experience, resulting in new sonic landscapes that reveal an inseparable relationship between music and soundscape. The natural orchestra is presented in a dream-like manner as diverse as the landscape itself. The sounds will have you drift through different states of mind.

Faru is a Berlin-based musician and designer, born in Bonn, Germany. Since 2016 he is releasing Drone and Ambient music. His works have been described as a natural orchestra in a dream-like manner. Exploring movements of nature, noise and harmonics. He is also producing and playing Techno under the name Sert.

We have a gift from one of the most interesting artists of the contemporary Russian dub-techno scene, a surprise release from Heavenchord «Reshapes». 
The reason for the creation of this release was the tracks that are deeply settled in the soul of the author. 
Showing his vision for these tracks through musical experiments, music was continued in different electronic genres. However, while listening to «Reshapes» is felt deep the author's love for dub-techno sound, this is the whole Heavenchord. In the release there are a lot of prolonged, long tracks, this is the time when the author had to haunt his mind, switch to some moments of life to better convey what is happening inside him. 
We want to thank the author and our friend Arthur for the perfect opportunity to release significant for him release on our label. Heavenchord «Reshapes» you can download in the best quality absolutely free on our Bandcamp.

Tresor Records is proud to present club resident Claudia Anderson’s new work “Synthesis”, as the first EP to be charted into its fabled catalog in 2019.

Claudia Anderson lives in Vienna where she gained experience at local raves and underground clubs, before becoming a Tresor resident in 2017.

In 2012, Anderson joined Singular, the Paris label headed by Tresor resident and recording artist Marcelus. “Hysteria” was celebrated as one of the most subtly produced records that year. Three years later, she followed with on Singular with “Liquid Forms”, pushing the definition of the deep forms of Techno which have become integrant part of her signature.

Since then, Tresor has worked closely with Claudia Anderson to develop her first treads on the label. The label’s 2017 “Dreamy Harbor” compilation featured Anderson’s track “Phase” next to luminaries such as Jon Hassell, Moritz von Oswald or Donato Dozzy, revealing an ever more hypnotic side of her work.

In a new step, and through the five tracks that build “Synthesis”, Claudia Anderson shows a sense of aplomb, that stands in balance with her natural and subtle sense of restraint.

Tresor.307 releases on 180g. 12" vinyl and digital on February 22nd, 2019.

R-A-G is MOS boss Aroy Dee in partnership with Marco Spaventi and G String. Together they make frayed and analogue house music that joins the dots between 80s Chicago and the modern day. This new EP does just that once more, opening with the dense sci-fi stomper that is Vacuum. With coarse synths and plenty of sonic scuzz it fires your every synapse.

On the flip side, Plenum (Outer Mix) is a beat less ambient affair with lost synths ringing out in vast chambers of fine grain sound, before the Inner Mix slowly courses on raw kick drums. Whole ecosystems of synths spiral around like galaxies in the distance to make for truly filmic deep house listening.
