After the success of Modular Expansion Records "00110001" and "Z80A", in which is included a remix by Developer, at the same time with the performances at Berghain, Tresor, Suicide Circus and Sisyphos, the legendary Clubs in Berlin, is time to presents the brand new vinyl release! 
'Hyperion' is a collaboration with Studio 416, a mysterious project, which based in Berlin. 'Hyperion' is a hypnotic, minimal track with deep chords, which progresses into darker territories while the dark strings come. The release includes 3 massive remixes.The first one has been remixed by Alexander Kowalski, who has created a perfect groovy tool with his unique classic style, an instant hit. The second remix is coming from the legendary Brian Sanhaji, who is making the track darker with his pumping futuristic version. The release is closing with the hard, minimal and melodic remix by Subjected of Vault Series, an artist from the upcoming Berlin techno scene.

EMEX & Studio 416 - Hyperion (Alexander Kowalski, Brian Sanhaji, Subjected Remixes)

Haiku’s Raw Waxes label is delighted to welcome the famously unconventional Stanislav Tolkachev with a new track EP of experimental techno and IDM sounds. Entitled Champions Breakfast and with brilliant artwork from German Benedikt Rugar, the release features six cuts, one of which, ‘Negative Space’, is a previously digital-only track landing here on vinyl for the very first time. 

Haiku has long been a fan of Ukrainian Tolkachev having previously collaborated on a remix for the label, while Tolkachev has also released on Haiku’s other label Inkblots. This new EP is one that not only shows off the label’s willingness to take risks and put out diverse and interesting electronic music, but also one that proves Tolkachev is a truly unique artist with his own musical voice. He has been that way for more than a decade now, and has put out three long players as well as countless EPs that get heavy support from the tastemakers of the day. This latest offering contains his take on the essentialness of groove, enriched by his use of atonality, dissonance and acid-not-acid textures, all in a minimal style. This is a varied and vital EP that oozes essential electronic invention.

Mike Golding, also known as one half of B12, debuts on Delsin. Since the early nineties he has been a key artist in shaping the sound of IDM and electronic as part of B12. Releases on Warp and their own B12 Records have become landmarks that sounds as good today as they did 25 years ago and now he steps up on Delsin under his own name with four more timeless cuts. This is his first official EP for more than a decade since the last B12 material with Steve Rutter, which itself came after a ten year hiatus, a welcome return with more to come. 

'Game Of Chance' is a bristling mix of drum grooves and tender pads that tugs at the heart strings while also making a dance floor impact. ’Source Code' is a futuristic slice of electronic with Detroit drums and spinning hi hats run through with cosmic synth lines that glisten brightly. There is a skittish energy to the IDM tinged techno of ’Semaphores', with its whirring machines and sombre synths, while closer 'Boosenbender' bumps along with impish spirits sinewy pads tying you in knots. This is avant guard machine music with a very real sense of soul.

Tresor Records is delighted to welcome Rod Modell to its catalogue, with the release of his new album Captagon.

Rod Modell needs no introduction, his various projects render him a master of techno. In repetition and barely noticeable change, Modell resculptures perceptions. His sound-design echoes cinematic ethereality, where ferric artefacts slam against percussion, rusty delays filter observation - the resulting web is a complex, radiating ambience that etches a natural ebb and flow.

Transformative sounds alight from the outset, “Triangulation” recalls flickering harmonies and grains, a tectonic swipe. Fast-paced dub techno emerges in “Reiki”, the disorienting clangs suggesting a step away from his recent ambient excursions. “Ito” crunches the pulse further with insistent noise, into soaring epiphanies of darkened transmissions.

Modell singularly uproots standard sonic hierarchies of techno production, crisp static as forceful as his beats, a provocation of rhythm and noise. Unceasing in its fast tempo, “Jade” is trademark Tresor business - the seismic sub-sonics underpin a momentous drive, with reverberated vocal inflections disfiguring warped, dancing materials. “Scrawler” is upfront and direct, a slamming groove and swaying chords diffusing ethereality. Enter vast chambers of smeared minimalism.

Where Modell’s recent releases had indicated a priority for ambient sounds, this new album extends Modell’s essential vision within techno. Closing track “Air-Port” shows Modell at his most crucial best - an ethereal colossus of sub-bass weight and morphing geometry.

This track shows my vision of eclectic dub music which goes beyond classic dub techno and have strong influence in jazz, funk and house music.

Lost Signals Volume 1 - Various artists compilation, cassette &amp; digital release by Mystictrax Records (Chernobyl, Ukraine)

A group of international scientists, specializing in sound, have been deciphering signals coming from a black hole, located next to the Mars-satellite “Phobos”. It turns out the cipher contains 11 tracks of audio files. It is suggested the signals were sent by Soviet scientists, during a secret 1986 expedition, in which they were to study the horizon of events inside a black hole; a mission from which they never returned. The audio files were recorded in various formats, among others on 20 exclusive cassette tapes, by the secret “Mystictrax” station somewhere in Chernobyl. The cassette holders automatically receives digital copies of the release. “We are sure that these records hide many more mysteries, and we want all of humanity to take part in solving it” - said a senior station employee. SYGMATURE 1 is a compilation of modern atmospheric music, a milestone of radio.syg.ma’s year of existence. Twenty two international artists, musicians and producers who contributed to the radio took part in this release.

Featured artists present different styles and approaches to recording soundscapes, inspired by experimental ambient, field recordings, electroacoustic, musique concrète and low-fi electronics. Sounds and atmospheres they create range from futuristic, distorted or high-pitched to more meditative and somewhat esoteric.
