Backstory: 
Let the place where we meet serve as introduction, the back of a small-town Kansas storefront, Amour Amusement, almost a joke on love, in the back of a garage full of old juke boxes & pinball machines, each of us bringing at least of what’s required, an ability, in the practice or our craft, to hypnotize each to the other: a minute black hole in the center of the space in which we play, & to which we unstaring, turn, hearing instead a possibility that exists in the second just past this of the song we’re playing, but better in how our art sharpens & expands with our focus—& this room, & the chords, & the words, & the players, become, under wild grasping blessing & manipulation, so heavy & light together.
