While Byron The Aquarius clearly understands the rules of classic house and techno, he’s never afraid to have fun with them and get irreverent. On Not My Cellphone!!!, his first Fool’s Gold EP, Byron flips and dissects a few hilarious vocal samples over some deep percussive grooves. The prolific multi-instrumentalist and producer shows an impressive sense of restraint, while still letting his humor shine through.

On 19th April 2024 the album of a well-known face of the Leipzig scene will be released - Borisson is releasing the "Along The Years LP" via Boundless Beatz in a local collaboration. In advance, four tracks of the digital long player mastered by Bukez Finezt will be released as an EP on 5th April 2024 to put a spotlight on the dance floor-dedicated sounds of the LP.

With the "Along The Years LP" Borisson brings a musical reflection of becoming part of the drum & bass scene in Leipzig and the evolvement of his passion for this culture. The development of social constructs, the experience of club cultural highlights and the acceptance of musical influences are rounded off in a package that, above all, brings a lot of vibe. The whole work is tightly interwoven and reflects the charm of the Leipzig scene surprisingly well - open, and both modern and classic.

The tracks are not quick fun for in-between. Instead, length and structure want their space to accommodate both - constant and accentuated parts. The resulting feeling is therefore more reminiscent of times when longplayers were seen as just that - when mixtapes were handed over and sets enjoyed repeated attention. However, this does not mean that the label "old school" can be used blankly. The sound and aesthetics are completely holding up with

the spirit of the present time. Only the three-minute banger with an eight-time drop will not be found here, but for sure an attention-deserving track compilation that accurately directs the listener through genre-space.

Why do we love cats?

Yes, loving cats was mainstream even before the Internet appeared with its ability to post an unlimited number of cats in pictures. But why? Why, out of all the diversity of the animal world, as the object of unconditional love man chose a cat?

It is well known that cats can create a positive emotional background in the home and positively affect a person's psycho-emotional state. Back in the 18th century, psychiatrists noticed that the presence of cats has a beneficial effect on mental health - when cats were admitted to crazy, it became much easier to get sick. Similar methods are still used in psychiatric clinics and nursing homes in some countries.

In addition, there are more pragmatic reasons for love for cats - domesticated about three thousand years ago animal for centuries helped people to fight rodents.
