Canadian West Coast talent rOhmz, most notably known for his smooth soulful style, delivers two cuts overflowing with mood and analog texture. His ‘Be set free’ single is exactly that, after years on a deep and emotional path, Anthony brings to light his darker side. Breaking out of the belief that an artist is bound by a certain brand or soundscape. The titled track ‘Be Set Free’ sets the stage as growling mid range takes over while hypnotic vocals encapsulate the syncopated drum work. ‘Don’t Play Dat’ packs the funk into an intricate composition of head nodding grooves with an urban twist.
