Celebrating their second album after ten years, Kiasmos’ Janus Rasmussen offers a veritable who’s who of kindred spirits in the global club scene with his mix for Bleep. From soft piano led compositions to four to the floor techno, orchestral whispers and gliding synths, and emotive club action are the name of the game here, evidenced in the smooth flows and bright, crackling garage rhythms of Gryr’s ‘Letter’, or the moody sonics of Gidge’s ‘The Fells’ reverberating into lush, crisp Nordic air. Peppered with entrancing vocal cuts and raging bass-centred tracks, this mix strobes with epic highs and ghostly passages.

"For this mix, I aimed to create a laid-back vibe that gradually builds towards a dynamic finish, featuring energetic grooves from artists like Nox Vahn and O’Flynn. These tracks are a blend of my go-to selections for DJ sets, alongside some new discoveries that have been on repeat while working from home. Francis Harris and Anthony Collins air their Breakaway edits on an exquisite house session.

Since 2012, the New York-based pair have been honing their vision of deep house across a singles on the Scissor and Thread label and their residency at Brooklyn's The Panther Room, gaining the support of DJ Sprinkles in the process. Last year, they released their debut album You Go Girl, which stayed true to the duo's deep house foundations while also exploring dubbier sounds indebted to Basic Channel et al.

Frank & Tony's FACT mix is entirely made up of their own edits, of Mogwai, Herbert, Roedelius and more. "Over the past few years as our sets became more and more focused on a vinyl format", the pair explain, "when faced with non-working turntables, the turn to digital became more and more of a challenge for us. The vinyl we digitized never sounded quite as good and we both had little patience for searching for music with online shops, so most of the time we were playing our own cuts, which, after a while also became tedious."

"As a result, we started making dancefloor edits of music that really inspired us both artistically and personally. These have now become a central part of our DJ performances from the digital side of the spectrum. The list of edits is growing rather exponentially, so we felt that with this mix we would give a little glimpse into this recent approach in our sets. In a way, this mix is a bit of a list of "greatest hits" in our minds, culminating in the ultimate homage to one of the masters, Roedelius."

Grouper's never grooved quite like this, in other words.

Mesh; the name brings to mind an underlying foundation, a wire frame for a crafted piece of art to ensure structural integrity. It’s an apt name for multimedia artist Max Cooper’s electronic imprint, where the MO is clattering rhythms and voluminous ambient vistas; sound as a vehicle for big ideas. Cooper’s exclusive Bleep mix celebrates the achievements of Mesh with a collection of works from their discography, featuring the ambient swells of Rob Clouth and some especially crisp breakbeat re-alignments from the likes of Reid Willis and Synkro. To top it off, there’s a couple of unreleased Cooper numbers you won’t hear anywhere else.

"Hi Bleep and listeners, many thanks for getting me involved on your awesome mix series. I've been really excited about the music we've been releasing on Mesh recently, so I decided to combine a lot of Mesh content with Laurel Halo's beautiful new remix of the Glassforms EP with Bruce Brubaker on Infine, and a couple of unreleased bits fresh from the studio which I've been playing around with in recent weeks and which probably won't be heard in their Bleep mix form anywhere else as they're still actively evolving pieces.
