After the successful release of XL1, which acted as a preview to what we could have expected this summer, Marco is honored to present the release of #MATERIA XL2 on MB Elektronics Recordings - and it provides a powerful collection of 21 tracks that were prominent throughout the unforgettable season at MATERIA.

When it comes to techno resumes, there aren't many artists who can match up with Robert Hood. This Detroit native has been releasing music since the early 90s, yet one could easily argue that he's currently doing some of this best work of his whole career, both with his solo work and the collaborative Floorplan project with his daughter Lyric. On May 22, he'll be releasing the 'Paradygm Shift' album via the Dekmantel label, and we premiered propulsive LP cut "I Am" on Red Bull Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.

Ukrainian producer Yan Cook steps up for his second EP in a row on Delsin Records' Inertia series, the dancefloor focussed offshoot that is running since 2011. After recent outings on Soma and his own Cooked imprint he now brings his trademark spangled techno back to the label where he appeared for the first time in 2012.

Once again it's sub shaking and room filling techno madness, shuffling percussion and rippling grooves made for the big floors and smokey warehouses.

In 2010 the electronic music scene in Brazil is experiencing one of the most interesting periods. Following the consolidation and popularization of the previous decade, innovative countercurrents and those helped revitalize the alternative scene with parties at old factories, activist DJ collectives and unpublished crosses between genders, particularly thermal fusions between brazilian and electronic sounds.

The Massa Records label was born in 2018 to channel some of that energy and creativity into quality music productions. With their sharp radars of sound and ideas, the label's founders, DJ and producer Renato Cohen, and DJ and manager Fernando Moreno, demand a bit of national exuberance for the world.
