We are here to bounce on post-club or deconstructed dance music also known as anti-club, the genre that is gaining momentum by pulling apart the conventions of techno. Crafting a clever space of in-betweenness and experimentation, woman, queer and gender non-conforming artists have been leading the scene since its beginning in the 2010s.

This mix-tape is mostly dedicated to them, with old favs and new releases.

Jared’s bi-weekly Muckrake Political Podcast, together with political commentator Nick Haussleman has traced the recent mutation or epi-mutation of the decline of US liberal democracy. Sexton’s recent work in print is The Midnight Kingdom, available on Penguin Random House.

In the shadow of United States Confederate Statue takedowns Alex Head & Nina Prader excavate underlying tensions entwined with a delicate and nuanced problem: Assembling America.

The scars of the racial discrimination in America have yet and may never heal. It is their presence in the face of historical erasure that must be witnessed.

In response to discourses of left/right activism around the removal or relocation of historic Confederate Statues, sub_ʇxǝʇ attempts to relocate our current crisis within specific historical, social and economic biases.

Born in France and now based in Montreal, Inside Blur is an electronic artist whose eclectic influences make her hard to categorize. Primarily Techno, she travels through New Wave to House music, dipping into EBM and Trance. Her tracks feature a strong drums-driven sound with powerful kicks and acid basslines, but also melancholic ethereal pads and arpeggios. Her love of visual arts is felt through her music as her evocative and pictorial sound brings life to a mental explosion of colours.
