there’s a weird fabric that holds our universe together 
and prevents it from falling into chaos. 
without that energy, there would be nothing, 
not something. 
that energy is called love, and ever since 
he was young, lil boost yearned to hold it. 
like a baby crying out to its mother, 
lil boost sought that warmth, 
and would go to the ends of the earth 
to rescue that light in those who had forgotten. 
and so, 
for all of the little flicker of his life, 
lil boost kindled this flame, 
until it was so great, that he too 
was engulfed, and 
he tumbled into a world of mirrors, 
his heart beating a river of liquid gold, 
as he whispered to himself 
the sweetest melody
