Anyways, felt like covering this song. It's pretty much my favorite Foo Fighters song atm. Decided to use the ol' Microsoft SoftSynth for this because well, FF wanted all the recordings in the Wasting Light album to sound as analog and raw as possible, so if I wanted to do a MIDI cover, then the MS softsynth is about as raw as it could get. :p

Hopefully you can appreciate the fact that I DO NOT USE PRESETS!  Using a Korg Micro and a Korg EM-1, I built all these synth sounds from scratch.  No presets, no premade drum loops.  The best part?  I mixed and mastered the song with...get ready for it... Cubase 3!!!  Take that, Pro-Tools!!  :P
