You and your gang can terraform into bodacious bass-bins, and cast your personal Redemption Arc onto the ether.


Inhibitions are to be absolved, and fat kickdrums to be followed. In this hyper-informed yet unknowing present tense, who can ignore the beat based intrinsic incentive to fuck up the circadian rhythm - the music becoming a byte-based silkworm, spinning its digital silk from synapse to synapse, until your brain is a translucent cocoon playfully ricocheting, the cranium its pleasure dome. A jaunty. slightly off kilter tune, with a lot of percussive elements and a solid chunky beat. A bit of 303 occasionally joins the occasion. And the bassline bounces along with a variety of noodles and quirky vibes. It's a peculiar track for sure.

Kosh - Damn Frogs [Eudemonia]

Kosh exploded onto the electro scene in 2018 with his debut release ‘Null 212’ on Casa Voyager records. The track that received the most attention was ‘Catch The Train’ with it’s faultless modern take on classic Detroit electro reminiscent of Cybotron and Aux 88.  It became a big track for 20/20 Vision founder Ralph Lawson who quickly invited Kosh to record for the label.

Kosh - ‘Vicious Love’ is a diverse 4 track EP showing off the Moroccan producers faultless production skills with the A-side featuring ‘An Arab in Space’ that continues to bring the classic sound of Detroit right up to date while title track ‘Vicious Love’ pushes into new territories, incorporating acid tinged synths, vocoded vocals and an insistent fast paced bassline. On the flip side ‘She Gets Mad’ is a straight up dance floor filler from the school of Casablanca while ‘Headache’ is precisely the opposite experience from the title with a relaxed, lush jam that oozes Larry Heard influences.

Hailing from Birmingham, One Records has been a purveyor of quality underground house and techno for over a decade. This year One enters its tenth year coinciding with the 50th release on the label.
